Caesars Atlantic City

Atlantic City, USA

The hotel

With a name like Caesars Atlantic City you should expect something regal, fitting of a VIP and that is exactly what you get at this resort. Set against the Atlantic City Beach on Pacific Ave and near the Boardwalk and Steel Pier, the grand sculptures of horses and columns adorn the property make it very hard to miss! The architecture is reminiscent of ancient Rome and the beautiful fountain in the front is sure to catch your eye. There are so many different options when it comes to Caesar's Atlantic City; 145,000 square feet of gaming floors; more than 2,300 slot machines; a theatre that has hosted Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr making the real decision here being what to do first? Do you try the spa or one of the 10 restaurants? Night time is sorted though with Atlantic City’s brand new nightclub. Undulating lighting and the hottest music will keep you going until you need to head back to one of those restaurants!

I wanted give this a 5 star review, but Caesar's just did not live up to expectations. Check in went well, but my upgrade with an "ocean view" room had no view of the ocean. I wanted give this a 5 star review, but Caesar's just did not live up to expectations. Check in went well, but my upgrade with an "ocean view" room had no view of the ocean. To add insult to injury we attempted to see if a Bellman would help us bring in luggage, but the bellman was very rude and stated that Bellmen did not go to the parking garage. I wouldn't have had a problem with that had the Bellman been a little bit nicer with his tone. The casino does have many restaurants but compared to some of the other casinos (Hard Rock, Bally's, Tropicana) these restaurants were very overpriced. We ended up spending more time at the other casinos than we did Caesar's and I will definitely be staying at one of them when I return to Atlantic City. You also had to pay to use the pool which was frustrating given this was not made clear before booking. The actual room was fine (minus the issue with the view). The bathroom door is a barn door that is a bit weird and has a gap so that someone walking by the door can see into the shower. This room was in the Centurion Tower. Overall my recommendation is to stay elsewhere if you can. Caesar's is ok, but so many other hotels are doing it so much better in AC. Read less

We all know Atlantic has felt bumps in recent years but after visiting Caesars it seems self inflicted. They have 2 restaurants open and they are overpriced. The mall attached to it is completely dead. Yet the staff thinks it’s 2005 as far as their self importance. The service that has really taken a tumble. Borgata and the Hard Rock are where it is now. He was the epitome of world class service and kept everyone calm while he helped us to book new rooms (adjoining). Not only was Alex incredibly helpful and friendly during check in, when it was time for us to venture out onto the boardwalk, he gave us directions as well. Can’t say enough about the service we experienced! Thank you Alex! Read less
