Caesars Atlantic City

Atlantic City, USA

The hotel

With a name like Caesars Atlantic City you should expect something regal, fitting of a VIP and that is exactly what you get at this resort. Set against the Atlantic City Beach on Pacific Ave and near the Boardwalk and Steel Pier, the grand sculptures of horses and columns adorn the property make it very hard to miss! The architecture is reminiscent of ancient Rome and the beautiful fountain in the front is sure to catch your eye. There are so many different options when it comes to Caesar's Atlantic City; 145,000 square feet of gaming floors; more than 2,300 slot machines; a theatre that has hosted Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr making the real decision here being what to do first? Do you try the spa or one of the 14 restaurants? Night time is sorted though with Atlantic City’s brand new nightclub. Undulating lighting and the hottest music will keep you going until you need to head back to one of those restaurants!

Came into town for a quick overnight stay. Our room was ocean front, clean and comfortable. The Ocean tower is dated in the common area's but our room was very nice. We dined at the buffet, which was good as expected. Service was quick and friendly making for a nice meal and stay.

Short stay. Arrived Sunday afternoon, they were able to accommodate early check in around 3 P.M. I asked if they could put me on a high floor, with an ocean view. They were able to accommodate that request as well. I asked if a 1 P.M. checkout was possible, and the manager was able to get that locked in as well. Room was as expected, spacious and a great view of the ocean and boardwalk. TV's do need to be updated, they are aged and smaller than almost all other resorts/hotels. Only service failure I experienced was that I had to call times to receive basic amenities. Each time I was told that they were on the way. Ultimately it took an hour, and it was because the appropriate party had the wrong room or lost my request in the system. Even with these service failures, it shouldn't take almost an hour to receive amenities especially when the hotel isn't anywhere near capacity. Room Service came extremely quick (20 minutes as opposed to the told 45 minutes to an hour). Prices, as expected, are much higher than what they should be, especially for run of the mill food. It was the equivalent to like Applebee's but it cost nearly $50.00 for mac and cheese, six chicken tenders and green beans. Keep that in mind. All together, it was a good trip, but beware that in some areas they will try to nickle and dime you for services/products that aren't equivalent to the cost. Read less

I went there and didn't know what to expect. From the very first moment, they were so helpful in every way possible. Honestly, the first opportunity I get to visit again I definitely would! They deserve all the praise for their hard work.
