The hotel

With a name like Caesars Atlantic City you should expect something regal, fitting of a VIP and that is exactly what you get at this resort. Set against the Atlantic City Beach on Pacific Ave and near the Boardwalk and Steel Pier, the grand sculptures of horses and columns adorn the property make it very hard to miss! The architecture is reminiscent of ancient Rome and the beautiful fountain in the front is sure to catch your eye. There are so many different options when it comes to Caesar's Atlantic City; 145,000 square feet of gaming floors; more than 2,300 slot machines; a theatre that has hosted Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr making the real decision here being what to do first? Do you try the spa or one of the 10 restaurants? Night time is sorted though with Atlantic City’s brand new nightclub. Early check in (2:15pm $11 extra). Booked the centurion tow which was the 3rd upgrade and it Said city or ocean view. I prefer the city view. I got a roof view. Worst view in the dozens of times and places I have stayed. You would think as empty as this place was they would put you in a different room than this. Nope......$7 extra. Room was… Read more

Great beer selection at the slots. Quite good with the covid precautions. Read less

While it is understandable that in-door dining has just begun, the food selection in the Laurel Lounge [aka Diamond Lounge] is desparately in need of improvement. It almost seems as if the new [or current] management has decided to take advantage of events to severely reduce the quality of food offered & hours of operation. Other A.C. Casinos… Read more

Caesars AC used to be my favorite place to stay, play and dine in Atlantic City. But that all changed after my visit here 2 days ago. The #1 issue is the ghetto trash guests this place is getting. Caesars AC used to be my favorite place to stay, play and dine in Atlantic City. But that all changed after my visit here 2 days ago. The #1 issue is the ghetto trash guests this place is getting. It used to be such a small percentage that it didn't infringe on the overall experience, but now it's overwhelming. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and did not get the corner room without a connecting door that I always request and never have a problem getting. Left all our stuff in the room and went down to the casino to play. Ripped through $2000 in 4 hours with little or no return. Came back up to the room to change for dinner. We heard some loud talking in the next room but thought maybe it would die down. Went to Gordon Ramsey for dinner, which turned out to be the only good thing about the trip. Came back up to the room to relax and have a good night's sleep. But nope! Trashy people in the room next door, as well as in two rooms across the hall, screaming, yelling, cursing, banging on walls and playing music so loud the entire floor could hear it. I called the front desk, they said someone would be up, but no one ever came or they just didn't give a s***. Got all our stuff together and left very late that night to make a two hour drive back home. Never coming back here. Read less

I recently stayed 4 nights at Caesars. I recently stayed 4 nights at Caesars. When I checked in around 5pm, I was told they didn't have the 2 queen room in Centurion Tower I had reserved available yet, but did have the same room with a King, which I took. I had room 3333, which had an amazing ocean view, as from bed all you see is the waves! The room was pretty clean and didn't smell despite being a smoking room. I asked Alexander about any suites being available, but the price for the senator suite for one night was more than my entire 4 night (comped) stay (which still includes resort fees)! He was otherwise nice, friendly, and seemed to like his job! When you arrive, there is a security guard who will most of the time ask you to look at a list of symptoms, to see if you will be honest and say you have any of them, but there is NO temperature checking at all! I didn't really like that and most people laughed off the list and didn't seem to answer seriously. People were mostly good about wearing masks, and a guard even told me to wear mine between sips, when I was drinking at a slot. I did see some noses out though at times but most were good. The hotel elevators were tough, with people cutting, and not respecting the 4 person max. I really enjoyed my room, it was roomy, fridge worked well, it was clean, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. Everything worked and the furniture was in pretty good condition. I had no issues during my stay and neighbors were generally quiet. I did notice rooms being turned over daily with new guests so they do not keep a room empty for a day between guests. I ate at Ramsay's 3x during my visit and food is great but a bit pricey. I also wanted to try KWI noodle bar but it was closed when hours on Caesars website indicated it would be open! I even did okay on the slots, while I did lose a few nights, considering how long I played, I didn't lose much, and did well overall at both Caesars and connecting Bally's compared to other Casinos (did have a good pop at Hard Rock for first time too!). I can't wait to go back and love staying at Caesars when staying on boardwalk. Also went to beach for the first time during a visit to AC and from Centurion tower, you go down into wild west, and right onto beach after crossing boardwalk! Check out was pretty quick as well! Great stay overall and can't wait to return next year! I didn't play tables that much, as they were more expensive than before, and they don't seem to be using that many of their tables, way fewer than past visits, while Casino's like Ocean and Borgata had dozens of tables open! We went to the front desk and inquired about the fee. We were told it was an early check-in fee. At no time were we ever told that we would be charged the extra money. Caesars is putting this on the bill in hopes that we would never realize that it was on the bill. We asked the supervisor to remove the charges from the bill and we were told that we checked in early and would have to pay it. We would have waited. Not good Caesars. Read less
