Harrah's Resort Atlantic City

Atlantic City, USA

The hotel

This is most definitely a large resort with a lot on offer if you’re in the mood for partying! There’s around-the-clock gaming excitement in the world-class casino, with over 150,000 square feet of action-packed tables, craps, roulette, blackjack and the hottest slot machines in town. The most noteworthy draw is The Pool, enclosed within a 90-foot high glass dome, this is an exclusive indoor tropical oasis by day and the city’s chicest party spot by night, home to the hottest club scene in Atlantic City – even Michael Phelps came here to enjoy himself after the Olympics! If you need to smooth out all the dark circles and hide the evidence of the night before, the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa will be your sanctuary. Choose from a diverse menu of treatments and you can even feel like royalty with pedicure thrones and a couple’s suite with lounge area, fireplace and spa tub. For those who like to re-energise in a more active way, there's the brand new 24-hour fitness centre with top of the range Technogym equipment. If you enjoy slightly quieter pastimes you can enrol in classes at the on-site Viking Cooking School, where instructors and celebrity chefs teach classes for all abilities. Classes include Italian specialities, learning how to create perfect sushi and the very tempting sounding Cookie Workshop.

The bags of garbage where the ice machine was so unsanitary, but yet no coffee makers in the rooms due to covid? Had to walk around dog poop on the tile floor by the sports book.Had to stand behind children that were not wearing masks at the coffee shop. No compensation from Harrah's for coffee. Had to listen to a couple tell a supervisor to eff off when the supervisor was asking guest to put on a mask. It's Mandated.AC BURGER CO was horrid. How do you serve old french fries? It's not like it was a brand new restaurant! Also out of juice, ice cream. Crab cake sliders were disgusting. Got a tickeet for a free buffet. Buffet is closed, how nice. The pricing isn't even consistent. Was told resort fee was 23.00, the charged 27.00? And charged for parking. How nice! Read less

Post Covid 19 Harrahs was my go to for an AC stay. Before the quarantine we stayed at Bally’s which was a new form of bad. I had stayed at Harrah’s before with minor issues but other than winning some money the room we stayed in this time was horrible. All the doors on our floor must have swelled some how so they scraped the floor. Only open 1/4 of the way and you had to squeeze around it. Plus every time our neighbors opened their doors it was loud enough to wake you. On top of that our direct neighbors decided to play Rap music all night and every song had multiple graphics sentences. So tired of trying to find nice clean rooms on a budget or using earned credits. Read less

I recently stayed in the Bayview Tower for a few days. This tower is supposed to be pet free yet i could hear a dog barking in the hall. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff upon checkout I was told that yes some dogs were allowed in regular rooms. If I had of known this I would not have stayed here. The check in line was ridiculously long, there were people everywhere. The emails that I received advising of the reopening it stated that temperatures would be taken upon arrival and there would be 25% capacity and neither was the case. The hot water pressure in the Bayview Tower was horrible and the room I was in was near the elevator and I could hear the elevator going up and down for my entire staff. I was not happy with my stay at all. Read less
