I recently posted a positive review for this hotel (reposted at end below). However, within a few days of departure, I noticed a charge on my credit card that was not correct, as I had used Marriot Bonvoy rewards to pay for my stay, but was subsequently charged for $40+tax for a room fee. I called the hotel to find out what the charge was for, and the clerk was able to find the charge and email me a copy (no folio had been emailed to me upon checkout) showing the charge, but since it was the weekend, she told me to call back during weekday business hours to have accounting department review it. I called back Monday morning, but there was no answer on the hotel main's phone number after 20+ rings. I followed up with Marriott customer service, and they also tried to contact the hotel directly, but they could not get through either. They left messages for multiple people at the hotel, but I have yet to hear back, nor has the charge been reversed. I would caution you to review your credit card carefully at stays at this hotel, and get a printed copy of your folio before departure. I am disappointed that these billing issues have tarnished my overall good impression of this hotel. This was my original review: "Stayed here for one night to go to an Oriole's game. Appears to be a large hotel well suited for meetings/conventions with its own banquet space plus location near convention centre. Was very convenient to park in the multi-level lot connected next door and walk right into hotel lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but hallways and rooms seem a bit dated in their decor and could use a refresh. Mini-fridge in room was convenient, but froze our bottled water. As platinum Bonvoy members, we were given access to 10th floor lounge for snacks/breakfast. It was well stocked and staff very eager to help. It is closed during the weekend and reopens Sunday evening, but we appreciated being able to get cold water and drinks when we needed. Location a block away from Camden Yards was extremely convenient. Despite hotel's name, It's about a 10 minute walk to main touristy inner harbor area, but it is an easy and safe area to walk around in." Read less

Room dirty upon check-in. 6p next day now and room not made up. Carpeting throughout hotel hasn't seen much of a vacuum. Room especially. Tired rooms. Pretty much of a bus stop convention hotel. Someone really needs to look at the cleanliness of this place

Common areas pleasant, staff very nice. Paid $229 for a king room, got a murphy bed, not a standard bed. Too high a price for a sofa bed. Food/trash under dresser. Carpet wet from leaking air conditioner. Bar staff was very nice and attentive. Front desk staff helpful. Held room with one credit card, gave the front desk a new one to use for… Read more

Nice restaurant on site. Rooms nicely appointed and since we couldn't get upgrade gave us rollaway with no charge. Negatives: Room not as clean as last trip, little things like dusty in spots, dirty tissues left on floor. (accidents happen), towels not replaced (but we called and they were delivered) signs stating pool.. there is none. I do reccommend the hotel, there were just a few disappoinements this trip. We stayed here to attend the Billy Joel concert at Camden Yard. We parked in the attached deck and went directly into the hotel. We arrived about 2 and were allowed to check in immediately. Even though there was no line they had 3 people working the front desk. On the way to the elevator we passed the concierge who immediately offered his assistance if we needed anything. I jokingly asked for a bottle opener. He smiled, put his index finger in the air and began digging in a drawer. He emerged with a bottle opener! The room was big and the A/C worked great. The bed had a comfortable foam mattress and lots of pillows. About 5 minutes after getting into our room someone from the hotel knocked on the door and gave us a foam pillow. I forgot all about requesting it but they didn't. The water pressure was great and the bathroom had plenty of towels. This hotel is a short walk to Inner Harbor and anywhere you want to eat or drink. Even better, it's not even two blocks to Camden Yard. I would definitely stay here again. Read less
