Mom and daughter time! It was amazing, coco reef was awesome and we had the best time! Love the style of the resort, little 2 story buildings, clean room, hot showers, wonderful service. We loved it and I have stayed at 6 other hotels. This is the best value. We also got the breakfast deal and it was awesome breakfast, filled is up for the day so we just did dinners out Read less

Our five night stay did get better as the days ticked by. After a "super quick" check in with little information given to us and no offer of help with our cases, we were directed to our upstairs room. Room was fine, in need of a little TLC but nothing you couldn't live with. Had to call reception to ask for some help from maintenance for our safe which never came, so decided to visit the beach or pool to cool off. The pool was closed and although we found beds on the beach, no towels were available which for a beach resort is unacceptable. We was told after visiting reception that two towels would be found and sent down to the beach to us. We waited for almost an hour on the beach but no towels came. The items that I was advised would be in our room upon arrival for my husband's 50th birthday were also not there, and although these were rectified over the next couple of days after emailing guest services"the moment" had passed. The resort gardens are kept very well and our room was well cleaned every day by the maid. On day four the pool opened, and we were enjoying our stay. Its only a $12 taxi ride into Hamilton, and buses are available at around $3 just outside the resort. The daily $24 resort fee, coupled with $22 service fee is another pill to swallow, but if you're looking for a "good value" holiday then Bermuda isn't for you. The island is however beautiful and we are so pleased we ticked it off our list. Read less

One thing that we did not realize before booking is that Elbow Beach is private. My understanding is that it is exclusively for hotel guests at any adjacent hotels? Point is, we essentially got an empty pink sand beach to ourselves. Baller status. Skip Horseshoe Bay and the crowds, stay at Coco Reef, and enjoy your private beach. Read less

The hotel: small, quiet, beautiful location. Small beach right at the hotel but with easy access to the most beautiful pink sand beach next door at the Elbow Beach and beyond. Water is more shades of turquoise than I can name. The room: Room 202, oceanfront ground floor, very comfortable. King bed, small couch, desk, tv, renovated bathroom,… Read more

Water is more shades of turquoise than I can name. The room: Room 202, oceanfront ground floor, very comfortable. King bed, small couch, desk, tv, renovated bathroom, patio with table two chairs and 1 lounger. Very clean. Small fridge. We asked for a coffee maker and they brought us a kettle and instant coffee. We struggled to find good coffee. The restaurant/food: I confess we only had one lunch at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was not included in our rate and we found it quite expensive (like all of Bermuda). We walked up to the Paraquet every morning for breakfast - a little diner about a 10 min walk up to the main road. For dinner we went to the Seabreeze Tapas bar at the Elbow beach twice The staff: very friendly and accommodating and helpful. Bermuda’s a quirky place and this hotel is no exception (the lobby and grounds are full of gold statues, and unusual artwork). But we absolutely loved it. Read less

Surprisingly good restaurant and very accommodating staff. Coco Beach could do with a beach bar. They have towels, chairs and loungers and umbrellas on their really nice beach, but no beach bar close to the water. Also, the really good looking pool was under renovation when we were there. That was not so great for us but by the time you read this it will be done so you will see a really nice pool environment on your visit. Rumor is some of the rooms are due for renovation but ours was really quite nice as it is. Coco Reef is a great option for a relaxing place to stay on your Bermuda visit. It is a somewhat undiscovered really good value for the money. Read less
