Element Boston Seaport District

Boston, USA

The hotel

A thoroughly modern concept in Boston hotels, Element Boston Seaport states it’s been ‘built green from the ground up’. Its eco-friendly principles don’t get in the way of style or luxuries though. Both come in abundance. The public and private spaces are slick and urban, with all the requisite clean lines, blocky furniture, and muted natural colours you’d expect from a hotel that only opened its doors in 2016. This contemporary styling’s evident in the oversized guestrooms with their full kitchens; the cosy reading nooks; the indoor pool space; and the amenities laid on, including free bicycles for exploring your Seaport surrounds, complimentary WiFi, and a ‘Rise, Restore, Relax’ dining mantra, which translates into a 24-hour gourmet pantry, complimentary breakfasts, and midweek receptions with free drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

A few minutes’ walk from harbour cruise launches and the Blue Hills Pavilion amphitheatre, it’s also 1.1 miles from The Children’s Museum and Boston Tea Party Shops and Museum, 1.6 miles from New England Aquarium and Boston Common, and 1.9 miles from Faneuil Hall and the theatre district. I stayed up late all night from The Piano Bar and Lounge music below has also to hear people talking very loud outside while they smoking cigarettes. I called the front desk to see if they could switch rooms and they said that they were sold out I also asked if there was anything they could do about it and they told me to go through the third party website that I booked and it was nothing to do with them they didn't even bother or show any care to take care of the situation nice hotel but stay away from the second floor do not even bother to stay on the second floor if you want to stay up all night and have the hotel not do anything about it. They should at least put a disclaimer on the website stating that the second floor can be loud at night Read less

Clean, nice hotel for families. The staff is super friendly. We arrived late at night( 11:40 pm) and Allister, at front desk, was super nice. I will definitely stay again. They provide bicycles. They also have breakfast. Our room had a kitchen, which is really helpful when you are traveling with kids.

I found it difficult to find a hotel room in Boston that isn’t outrageously expensive. I happened upon Element Boston Seaport and was impressed. The location is great especially for the convention centre. The layout of the room was very efficient with a kitchenette, couch, desk and two queen beds in a small (but didn’t feel cramped) space. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable and the price is a little less than other parts of the city. The breakfast was not good - plan on eating elsewhere or just having cereal or fruit. The location is much farther out of the way than I expected and I would pay extra next time to be near the T. Ubers were expensive from this hotel -… Read more

The location is much farther out of the way than I expected and I would pay extra next time to be near the T. Ubers were expensive from this hotel - cabs were better priced. Hotel offers parking but beware that the lot was full our 2nd night and were told parking was not guaranteed. Not sure what were were supposed to do with our car since we were staying at the hotel! The hotel gave us an overnight parking pass for the 30min parking that night but the overall experience was not good especially that we paid for the parking. Read less

The Element is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds, pillows & blankets are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were shining clean and the showers had plenty of room. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only minuses, the breakfast was just OK. And $4 for a 12 oz can of soda made LaGuardia look cheap. But overall… Read more
