Nine Zero, A Kimpton Hotel

Boston, USA

The hotel

This luxury Boston hotel is regarded as one of the best in Boston. It's trendy, well positioned and friendly with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guest rooms provide a welcome retreat from the buzz of the city, featuring a good range of mod cons. For a real treat, take advantage of the in-room spa treatments available, including hot stone massage and spirulina body wrap - pure bliss! There's also a state-of-the-art fitness centre, open 24/7 with complimentary water and towels to cool you down. Because you're so central, there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but if you're in the mood for another treat (and why no, you're on holiday!), make sure you frequent the hotel's vintage cocktail lounge, the Highball. Popular with the locals, it's a great mix of fun and nostalgia with some killer cocktails to boot.

I LOVED the location in walking distance to anything in downtown Boston. The concierge helped on several occasions with ideas of where to grab a bite and drink and we were pleased with the recommendations. The hotel had nice touches including a complimentary hot chocolate bar in the lobby and evening glass of wine in the lounge. Definitely would stay again! Read less

The service in general is very bad. Employees aren't friendly or helpful with clients, except Mr. Karim's from reception which was the exception. You should put him in a manager position. The service in general is very bad. Employees aren't friendly or helpful with clients, except Mr. Karim's from reception which was the exception. You should put him in a manager position. But the worst thing is the room service. Please note that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so We had to order room service and the price is incredibly expensive: 3 normal dishes, a bottle of water and a $42 bottle of wine, we paid $172. Prices are ridiculous for a hotel that should not be more than 3 stars. Never again this chain. Read less
