Nine Zero, A Kimpton Hotel

Boston, USA

The hotel

This luxury Boston hotel is regarded as one of the best in Boston. It's trendy, well positioned and friendly with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guest rooms provide a welcome retreat from the buzz of the city, featuring a good range of mod cons. For a real treat, take advantage of the in-room spa treatments available, including hot stone massage and spirulina body wrap - pure bliss! There's also a state-of-the-art fitness centre, open 24/7 with complimentary water and towels to cool you down. Because you're so central, there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but if you're in the mood for another treat (and why no, you're on holiday!), make sure you frequent the hotel's vintage cocktail lounge, the Highball. Popular with the locals, it's a great mix of fun and nostalgia with some killer cocktails to boot.

Great staff and great service. The decor was a bit dreary and I felt as though they should be more lighting in the rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. I woild recommend staying here. The hospitality was outstanding.

Great hotel and amenities. The top 3 amenities for me are the breakfast, hosted wine hour and access to the Boston Sports Club. Huge thanks to Ashley D! She made us comfortable and happy before arriving. Must compliment Jerry, Jesse, Karim and Todi. Very grateful to all!! Thanks Kimpton!

I’ve always loved the Kimpton brand. And even through it’s merged with IHG it’s kept its DNA of incredibly hospitable service. They’re also super welcoming to LGBTQ colleagues and guests. I’ve always loved the Kimpton brand. And even through it’s merged with IHG it’s kept its DNA of incredibly hospitable service. They’re also super welcoming to LGBTQ colleagues and guests. It’s literally in their employee manual on the very first page. I enjoyed an upgrade to the penthouse. The views are spectacular. Look at some of the photos I posted here. It was a very large suite with a billiards table that I played with and an Nespresso machine which I love. It’s also convenient that it has a guest bathroom for when you may have colleagues over for a meeting or friends to come by. The staff is empowered to help guests no matter what. So you feel like you have responsiveness and you’re never just palmed off to the next person who may forget or deprioritize your issue. There really is a responsibility there and responsiveness. I love the location. You can walk to downtown Crossing, but the Boston Common, even Newberry Street we can go shopping. And since you’re in a bit of a hill there the views from most of the upper levels are really extraordinary. Also there’s a very small but serviceable gym on the second floor. But you can also get a pass to the nearby Boston Sports Club is an excellent facility. And the restaurant the better sorts social club for breakfast is really nice. It’s pretty much all the food you could want and it was included in my stay. And that spot is open for cocktails in the evening and it’s very nice. There’s also a wine happy hour from 5 to 6 every evening in the main lobby I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Read less
