Nine Zero, A Kimpton Hotel

Boston, USA

The hotel

This luxury Boston hotel is regarded as one of the best in Boston. It's trendy, well positioned and friendly with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guest rooms provide a welcome retreat from the buzz of the city, featuring a good range of mod cons. For a real treat, take advantage of the in-room spa treatments available, including hot stone massage and spirulina body wrap - pure bliss! There's also a state-of-the-art fitness centre, open 24/7 with complimentary water and towels to cool you down. Because you're so central, there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but if you're in the mood for another treat (and why no, you're on holiday!), make sure you frequent the hotel's vintage cocktail lounge, the Highball. Popular with the locals, it's a great mix of fun and nostalgia with some killer cocktails to boot.

We were so disappointed upon arrival to our room; it was gross. We could literally write our names in the dust, and there was more than one sticky spot on the floor. Probably hard for them to notice; the rooms are black and the lighting is inadequate...and bizarre. Thank god for the Clorox wipes and Lysol spray I had in my Traveling in The Time… Read more

This is NOT a luxury hotel although it markets itself as one. There is no coffee/tea in the room. Empty fridge/minibar. No free wifi (it's 2020, come on). The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor despite our best efforts. There were cup stains on the bedside table which came off when wiped with a wet towel, so it just wasn't cleaned. I would have overlooked most of this had we had a better experience during check-in. They couldn't find our reservation although we showed them the confirmation email and number from Booking.com and treated us as if it were silly to have booked online. They made no attempt to be helpful or sympathetic in the slightest, they just looked at us, standing there with bags in hand, and asked us if we wanted to make a new reservation. In no moment did they offer a simple 'sorry for the inconvenience' or 'that's odd, we'll look into it'. It was as if they were doing us a favor by making a new reservation there in the moment. Badly managed and maintained hotel, terrible customer service. We should have left when we had the chance. Do yourself a favor - STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! Read less

Only stayed one night in order to catch an early flight from Logan. Very comfortable hotel and short walk to Boston's best spots. Love hotel rooms with bathtubs and this one fit the bill! Wish we could've stayed longer. Some services like valet aren't operating currently due to COVID.

I am currently at this Kimpton it is 3am there is literally a party going on on our floor and I’ve called the desk multiple times and they have not done anything . The parking was inconvenient . It’s extremely dark the rooms are painted black would absolutely not recommend staying here and if I could get my car I would be driving home

I've stayed at other Kimpton Hotels but this location just wasn't up tp par. No valet parking, light bulbs missing, no glasses in the room, too dark. The elevators and hallways dimly lighted. No ice on each floor, you have to call front desk and 15 minutes later still waiting, The good is location and front desk staff.
