This is a lovely hotel but the room I stayed in was not quite business friendly with a small work space and uncomfortable chair that could not be adjusted. This is a lovely hotel but the room I stayed in was not quite business friendly with a small work space and uncomfortable chair that could not be adjusted. For those of us that travel on business, this space in a room is important. There was also an odor of cigar smoke in my room. While non smoking, some visitors don’t pay attention to the rules and the staff just did not do a good enough job in cleaning. Thankfully the window opened but it was so cold outside, I couldn’t keep it open. The staff was very friendly but an NBA team was staying and they took priority making difficulty in checking and out and thus I couldn’t not get into my room until while after the stated checkin time. Unfortunate that this makes it tough for the regular traveler but I guess the Ritz makes more money from a sports team and its worth pushing off regular customers. Read less

Stayed during BU family weekend. For starters, they accommodated connecting room request and upgraded one of them. The fitness center is a very nice equinox. Service is fairly good as well. Will stay again.

Just checked in. So far room and customer service are like a standard Marriott. Rooms are basic. Has a bathrobe which Marriott does not. Big deal And the room we requested wasn’t available at 4 pm checkin

This was probably one of the most boring Ritz Carlton's I have ever stayed at overnight. One, because of the renovations, there really is no lobby whatsoever - I thought it was just the restaurant. The result is, you get your key, and head straight to the room. The rooms are just so so as well and the turn down service didn't bother to put up an… Read more

The result is, you get your key, and head straight to the room. The rooms are just so so as well and the turn down service didn't bother to put up an ironing board. Boston has a lot of great hotels, and most Ritz Carlton's are wonderful and with plenty of character. This one, especially with no lobby whatsoever to even meet friends and guests, was really a disappointment. Read less

Ritz Carlton Boston has a small lobby since it’s a smaller Ritz (compared to Ritz Tokyo and Sarasota) it’s in line with its other city locations such as Philadelphia but smaller than SF. The club lounge is intimate (small) but I enjoyed the top shelf and good selection of wine and food. Staff is professional - special shout out to Jose who was… Read more

Access to Equinox was fabulous Looking forward to my next stay - oh yes my daughter left her Laptop which was quickly located and I had a relative still in Boston to pick up and drop off back to us in NYC Read less
