Overrated. Maybe it’s just not the type of hotel we like. Obviously caterers to a more European clientele. The parking is a joke. If you leave your car with the staff, they will try to find it for you in the am. They do not have a parking lot, but keep moving it on the street. If you leave your car with the staff, they will try to find it for you in the am. They do not have a parking lot, but keep moving it on the street. We stopped in the small bar in the late afternoon and the bellman was able to find my wife a $30 small glass of wine, previously opened. Beds are soft. No A/C, so cannot imagine how hot that room would be. No windows to open. For the money think there are other options. . But, convenient location! Read less

Exceptionally curated experience! Fabulous property, great location, thoughtful little touches and really on top of their service game. Right from the cookies that show up every night in the room to the excellent breakfast every morning. Nothing is too much trouble, we will be back!

Service was excellent. Rooms facing courtyard are very noisy. Hot water in bathtub came out in a trickle. Floor heating system in bathroom did not work. Drinks were way overpriced. A Kir Royale at a luxury hotel in Paris is less expensive.

We stayed here in late April 2021, during the pandemic. We liked the property because of its old time elegance and service. Unfortunately the pandemic caused some changes to their process like moving all dining outside to the courtyard. They reacted very well to the changes and met the challenges with grace and character. The staff was efficient, attentive and professional. This is a memorable property that we would come back to. The only reason we didn’t give them five stars is because the room we were in (#25) should be upgraded to truly reflect a luxury property. We would suggest the addition of a towel warmer in the bathroom and a cabinet or armoire to house the television to make the room even more luxurious. Read less

40 years ago my wife and I honeymooned at this hotel (Sundial Inn at the time). We spent the night at L'Auberge last week and were absolutely amazed at the hospitality, attention to preserving the ambiance and charm of the old hotel, the staff, the food and everything about the hotel. We'll be coming back again!
