Weather and other issues allowed us to get to the area a day early. They were able to get a room for us and we even got an extra day of skiing.

First, admittedly, this is the best hotel in the area. I have stayed here multiple times in the past and would stay here again. Hotel is clean and staff are super friendly. You cannot beat the location, especially in season for skiing ski out. I stayed here in April for one day and the lift was still open. So in that respect, it is perfect. On the… Read more
First, admittedly, this is the best hotel in the area. I have stayed here multiple times in the past and would stay here again. Hotel is clean and staff are super friendly. You cannot beat the location, especially in season for skiing ski out. I stayed here in April for one day and the lift was still open. So in that respect, it is perfect. On the other hand, I stayed here pre-Covid under prior ownership. My recollection is that it was a bit newer, a bit shinier, a bit more upscale. Again nothing really wrong with the hotel and I had a nice stay. It may have been, a group event with children, but there were tons of children in the restaurant and in the hot tub, running around with open umbrellas just looking to cause an accident. With a $50 resort fee and children running around, I have to admit that was a little disappointed in the hot tub experience. I will also note that for a premium hotel in the Truckee area, $441 for the night is not outrageous. What was bothersome was that the base hotel rate was under $240. The remaining charges were taxes, service fees, the afore mentioned resort fee, and a $65 parking fee. Read less

This is a convenient, self-contained resort with everything within reach: restaurants ranging from casual to elegant, rental shop, convenience store/cafe, ski-in-ski-out lift, shops, spa, gym, skating rink, pool, hot tubs, shuttle bus. We arrived very early and the only room available at that hour required an upgrade charge which proved well worth the beautiful valley view instead of the forest view room in which we were originally booked. A small inconvenience is that the hotel rooms are in a separate building from the lobby and restaurants, which meant having to wear a coat when going to the main building. Housekeeping was good once the staff actually showed up. It's nice to return to a clean room after one has been out all day. In one case, it was already 4 p.m. and I had to phone housekeeping to have the room cleaned, even though the "do not disturb" sign was not on display while we were gone. Thursday is fondue night at the Six Peaks Grille. A reservation is advisable to avoid disappointment. The large pot of fondue was accompanied by house-made croutons (rather than the traditional baguette) as well as fruit chunks and broccoli. There was not enough bread (croutons) for the amount of fondue so I requested more, and was surprised to see a charge of $5 for the extra. I did not complain, but this is really a case of nickel-and-diming. However, in the scheme of things, these were minor matters and I enjoyed my ski holiday at the Everline. Read less

We liked many things about this Resort. From a skiing point of view, it was amazing fun to have your skis set out on the rack by the Resort lift in the morning, and nice to have a ski valet service overall. The Resort chair is a secret stash smorgasbord, no one is ever in line and the trees are steep and shaded so hold pow well. Shhhhh. The… Read more

The Resort chair is a secret stash smorgasbord, no one is ever in line and the trees are steep and shaded so hold pow well. Shhhhh. The hotel room was in excellent condition, clean and well appointed. We had a fireplace suite which was roomy and had a bay-window like extension to watch snow fall and the fireplace flicker. The bed was comfortable, there was ample storage and places for wet ski gear, and and the fridge/stovetop/microwave/toaster/coffeemaker setup was perfect. Self-park worked fine though paying $30 for a parking space kind of hurts. Palisades is a fun hill, and there are excellent restaurants in Everline and in the Village. Read less
