The hotel

There are five star hotels, and then there are LA five star hotels. Built for the most discerning and demanding of guests, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is definitely the latter. Its address, attractions, and attitude all make it feel like a cross between a members-only club and a private home. Beverly Hills, within walking distance to the world-renown Rodeo Drive lined with designer boutiques, art galleries, top restaurants and noted museums. Transfer time from Los Angeles airport: approximately 25 minutes.

116 suites, all with private French balconies, flat screen HD TV, Amazon Alexa, dressing room, mirrors with indoor/outdoor lighting features, mini bar*, Nespresso™ coffee machine, nightly turndown service, iron and ironing board, and complimentary WiFi access. 

Classic Suites offer terrace or skyline views, with 1 king-size bed and a spacious seating area, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Deluxe Classic Suites are slightly larger in size, with terrace or skyline views, spacious seating area, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Grand Classic Suites are located on the 5th floor and above, and feature a soaking tub in the bathroom, seating area, and 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Heritage Suites feature a separate living room with dining table, full-service kitchenette, two French or full balconies, bathroom and additional powder room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

Grand Heritage Suites are the same as above but larger in size.

Grand Heritage Two Bedroom Suites offer the same as Grand Heritage Suites, with an additional bedroom that has either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults. 

Palm Suites feature full balconies with views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining table, bathroom plus an additional powder room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

L'Ermitage Suite is the most coveted, private suite, featuring full balconies with views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills, foyer with marble fireplace, separate screening room, lounge with fireplace, dining room, full-service kitchen with wine refrigerator, private office, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Avec Nous (serving Californian twists on French classics, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner). In-room and poolside dining available*. 

Regular jazz nights at Avec Vous.

I give it a 2, because claiming 5 star when facilities and experience is not 5 star is false advertising. I don’t like liers. At first when we arrive the location was great. The valet, and front desk were really courteous. When we got to the room, it felt nice until we saw black flies everywhere. I killed a few but it they kept coming back and we… Read more

The valet, and front desk were really courteous. When we got to the room, it felt nice until we saw black flies everywhere. I killed a few but it they kept coming back and we don’t know from where. Checked out the bathroom and it was outdated and fixtures were rusty. We went down to the bar for drinks and we were served by a super nice bartender. She made sure we felt comfortable. However, we looked up the ceiling and we saw about 20+ flies/ fruit flies hanging out. (Gross) This mini flies were flying around liquor bottles as well. Pool is as cool on the roof. A spark of champagne was nice. But the water was cold. Got a car to melrose which was nice touch. Second day, different story, front desk person in the morning was rude and arrogant. Read less

Truly some of the best 5 start luxury service I have ever experienced. 100% recommend. Staff is extraordinary. Location ideal in the heart of Beverly Hills. Rooms are large and spacious and the attention to detail makes you feel truly special.

Nothing to complain about, the service was excellent and they even delivered Doordash straight to the room. The suite itself was spacious and our toddler was roaming around the whole night! Would come again.
