Excellent short stay. The Villa is clean, modern and quiet. Nice large bathroom. My request for a top floor, golf course view was honored. Large, private patio. The big pool was relaxing. Fantastic location for visiting Palm Springs and Joshua Tree (well a little further out, not to be missed). The town of Palm Desert was quite nice. Great resort. Read less

I stayed here for business and, despite the construction, this place is beautiful and should be more so when I return. The grounds are clean and the customer service is second to none. When I called the front desk and asked where I can find bottled water, they responded by having someone drop off a few bottles at my door. I will be back to play… Read more

I’ve stayed at a lot of places in the Palm Springs/Desert area for decades and this was one of the worst trips I’ve experienced! We were assigned to building 6 room 6308…across from the adult pool which was unfortunately closed and under construction…that was our view from our balcony which was a nice size but not a great view to look at while sitting out there. The room was lovely and well furnished…. Everything looked clean and newer and the one bedroom villa had evening we needed for our 5 night stay. It has a kitchenette and nice furnishings but it was very very dark…only 2 little windows in the living room and a slider that goes out to the balcony with a large covered patio which was nice and large but unfortunately didn’t have a great view due to the closed pool under construction . The bed was very comfortable and we would have slept well except we were woken up the first two days of our trip by jackhammers than started around 8am (Thursday and Friday). I don’t understand how a hotel could have guests stay while construction noises are going on…if we were told this, we would not have stayed here…who wants to go on a relaxing vacation only to be awoken by construction noise!!! There was also a very annoying whirring sound going off all night….at first I thought it was the A//C but it ran continuously even when the A/C was off…I’m not sure what it was but were on the third floor of building 6…the top floor..it sounded like a fan blowing on the roof but I’m not sure what it was but it kept us up and prevented a deep sleep!!💤 On top of this we weren’t informed that the adult pool was closed which is where my husband and I like to spend our days while on vacation….away from noisy kids and splashing while we’re on vacation….we had to go to one of the two other pools which were very crowded, full of kids and noise and not relaxing at all!!! The other thing that’s really upsetting is having to check out by 10am…my husband and I are both night owls so early rising, especially while on a vacation is a HUGE bummer!! Needless to say our trip was ruined and we felt like we both needed another vacation after this trip and will never be staying here again. this turned out to be one of our worst trips ever at any hotel and a very disappointing experience. I really enjoyed this place. The rooms were very nice and clean, well layed out. I highly recommend this place. We came during the hot spell. The mornings and evenings were very nice in terms of weather. Food at the Agave was very very good! The staff is very pleasant and welcoming.

This is our fifth or sixth time staying in a two bedroom villa. We got an excellent price during the summer low season. I will say our visit took an odd turn to start where we were given an occupied room. I unfortunately walked in on someone naked drying their hair. I quickly closed the door and left the premises. While the front desk clerk was significantly apologetic, I would have expected to hear from a manager, which we did not. I can’t say this significantly detracted from our stay though it reminded me to always put the privacy lock on from the inside when occupying my room! Great amenities, my son used the gym several times, we used the pool and ping pong tables next to the main lobby area. Pools are kept very clean and mostly quiet. It would be nice if they were a bit cooler but that must be next to impossible in the summer. Units are well equipped with everything you could need for a stay and laundry is very handy. Sitting out on the deck is lovely on an evening. I suggest always asking for a top floor room if noise interrupts your sleep. Anytime there are kids above you, it’s quite noisy. Would stay here again at the right price $2-300 per night.). Any price over that you can usually find a house for rent with a pool, which for us is a better option. Read less
