Tivoli Lodge

Vail, Colorado

The hotel

Combining modern architecture with the feel of a mountain lodge, the Tivoli is a firm favourite with skiers. Warm in atmosphere with great service from attentive staff, it also enjoys unobstructed views of the Vail’s Golden Peak ski area. Guest rooms are spacious and impeccably-appointed with the finest linens and large soaking tubs – much appreciated after a busy day on the mountain! There are also two hot tubs to stake your place in, both with mountain views, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Breakfast is a delight at the Tivoli, complete with an omelette station and house specialities such as French toast and buttermilk biscuits. Come sundown, there’s the Brown Hound Lounge with overstuffed chairs, leather sofas and towering views of the mountain. A wonderful place for a spot of après-ski, try a signature Indini cocktail, inspired by former mascot Indy, the chocolate Labrador for whom the name is lounged – yep, you guessed it, it has a chocolate theme!

The hotel is in a great location and staff was very friendly. Our room was huge and we loved all the windows and being able to open them. However there was a lot of traffic so it was a bit noisy. The room could use some improvement. House keeping needs to use a cleaner for lime build up on faucets etc. It makes the room look dirty. See pics. They… Read more

The room could use some improvement. House keeping needs to use a cleaner for lime build up on faucets etc. It makes the room look dirty. See pics. They are still using pillow shams etc. during COVID19 and one of ours had stains on it. See picture. There was a huge stain on the ceiling in bathroom. The towel heater did not work. Big crack in tile in bathroom. There was no creamer for the coffee and only one pack of regular coffee. Would have preferred disposable coffee cups especially during COVID. A big disappointment was the fireplace that we paid extra to have. It came on but you could barely see the flame and no way to adjust it. Read less

I took my wife to Vail to spend a long birthday weekend and we stayed at the Tivoli Lodge. I'd definitely return as the property is very nice and a great value for Vail. COVID restrictions got in the way of typical dining and housekeeping but that's not the fault of the hotel or staff. It's within a very short walk of the village and everything it… Read more

We spent a long October weekend in Vail at Tivoli. The property was cozy and clean -- the staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility lacks a substantial food and beverage solution -- after the first evening we solved this with a trip to the liquor store. The rooms were basic but clean -- I'd describe it as a Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden… Read more

Loved the close proximity to downtown and we couldn't have been any closer to the mountain! The kids also loved the outdoor hot tub. The hotel staff was friendly and we enjoyed the free bicycle rentals they offered. Lobby was very inviting as well.

Compared to other hotels in the area this place was a very good deal. Rooms were well laid out and clean. Hotel itself was cozy. Speedy the lab is the best at getting pets.
