Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great Hotel, Busy Area

Love this hotel, but lot going on in the area with limited parking... nice that there are paths to get into the BJCC without having to go outside. Nice and quiet. New interstate near by and things like a lot of trendy restaurants and top golf near by. But be aware they are building a new arena across the street so take that into consideration.

Stayed here for the red nose ball event at the BJCC. Brian W who is one of the bellman at the hotel was very accommodating and so helpful. I honestly have never had better service from a bellman at any hotel than what this fine gentlemen gave me. I honestly have never had better service from a bellman at any hotel than what this fine gentlemen gave me. First, he greeted me at the door with a warm smile, then offered to take my luggage to the room, and even walked me over to the BJCC to show me where the skywalks were so I didn’t get lost that night getting to the event. This young man will go far in life with the type of service he provides to guests. I truly hope his manager sees this and knows he is AWESOME! Thanks for everything Brian. You rock! I was there for dinner at Todd English pub. A very nice and very tall caucasian gentleman whose name started with a B but can’t remember the rest was outside directing people where to park due to the front entrance being packed for an event. He was so helpful and very welcoming. He looked like a security guard and if he is I hope the Security… Read more

Stayed here for a concert. Can’t beat this hotel. Close (one block away) to a handful of food options. Can walk through the skywalk over time the arena, not needing to go outside. Was cold and rainy while there, so the skywalk came in handy. Valet parking available for $25. Self parking available for $14. Would recommend this hotel if going to a… Read more

I have MS and I’m in a power wheelchair. Normally hotels have done the minimum to make a bathroom legally accessible. The Westin in Birmingham has went above and beyond that. They have the grab bars placed logically and even have a vertical grab bar. They have a drain in the floor outside the shower. This helps with the inevitable wetness on the… Read more

They have the grab bars placed logically and even have a vertical grab bar. They have a drain in the floor outside the shower. This helps with the inevitable wetness on the floor that always happens with a roll in shower. Not only was the room great, the restaurant in the hotel was great as well. Our server, Courtney, was friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience at this hotel. Read less
