This hotel is well located among other name brand hotels. The prices seemed very high for quality of room and breakfast. Staff did not seem that interested in meeting my needs when requested different room upon checkin. Room lacked luggage rack and very wrinkled shower curtain.

The staff at the front desk, the valet parking, the breakfast staff...all were friendly, professional, helpful. In 2017 and 2019 I visited the Civil Rights places: the Rosa Parks Museum, the Southern Poverty Law Center museum, the Dexter St Baptist Church, and in 2019, the Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice, created by the Equal Justice Initiative. The hotel is the perfect location for visiting all these places. Read less

It was refreshing to see us all staff members display such a friendly and engaging attitude. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job and everyone seemed to enjoy making us feel comfortable. We will definitely visit again.

Hotel is dated but clean. We were assigned to room 211. It is right next to the stairs and with a view of the air conditioning unit. The room was small with a desk but no desk chair. There is not a mini refrigerator like most Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The light in the bathroom was very dim. It would probably be ok for a man traveling alone… Read more

There is not a mini refrigerator like most Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The light in the bathroom was very dim. It would probably be ok for a man traveling alone but was difficult to see for a woman applying makeup. Parking is another issue with this property. You need to valet for $16 a day or find a meter and feed it. I probably would not stay here again. Read less

We stayed at the Hampton in. And suites downtown for a conference being held at the embassy suites. It was in a great location. Close to many restaurants. Very clean room. Extremely nice staff. I would definitely stay again.
