I absolutely LOVED this hotel! When you first walk into the lobby, it is like you are transported back in time. It has a vintage, Gilded era feel with so much detail! The staff on all shifts were friendly and accommodating! The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and historic sights, so once the car was parked, we were able to… Read more

The staff on all shifts were friendly and accommodating! The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and historic sights, so once the car was parked, we were able to leave it there. The bed was SO comfy - definitely one of the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Looking forward to another trip to Montgomery so we can stay longer next time! Read less

Located right in the center of the downtown river district, this Hampton Inn has timeless class and charm. The rooms, lobby and other common areas are impeccable. I don’t know about the history of this hotel before Hampton got their hands on it, but there must be stories to be told. We were coming through this fascinating city just as COVID-19 was beginning to dominate the news. The staff was exceptionally attentive and made the transition to the new norms with southern style grace. The bed was comfortable, cleanliness was the rule throughout the room and it was surprisingly spacious. We certainly will be back to find out more about its historic charm and enjoy learning more about the heritage and resilience of Montgomery. Read less

My husband and I came to Montgomery for a Dr appointment I had and I wanted to show him the museums downtown. So this was a perfect place! The bed is amazing and even though we had a corner room it was pretty quiet. Kinda bummed about the fridge but that's my bad for not reading everything. And we didn't have any leftovers from anywhere we ate while we were there so that was just fine! They even reunited me with my flops super quick when I realized I had forgotten them! With my husband and I both coming from a hospitality background there isn't anything to change! Beautiful lobby, sweet staff, clean everything (love the soap!) This will definitely be our go to every time we come to Montgomery! Read less

Traveling further south on my cross country bicycle journey lead me here. This Hampton Inn is in a older building, but I found it to be well maintained and quite charming. This is an older property with medium-small rooms that lak a mini-fridge or a microwave. The lobby is in need of an update and there aer scuffs on the walls in numerous places. It is, however, quite stretegically situated near diing and cultural sites.
