Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center

The hotel

A headline-worthy hotel, Omni Hotel CNN Center is moments from the newsrooms and studios of CNN Global Headquarters. Its location also lets you immerse yourself in America’s love of sports, putting you right beside Centennial Olympic Park, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome, and the College Football Hall of Fame. If sports aren’t your thing, you could always escape to the fitness centre, or the 6th floor sun deck, with its heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and city views. A downtown hotel, there are plenty of dining venues in the surrounding blocks and at CNN Center, from steakhouses to sports bars. But you can ‘dine in’ on upscale American classics at Prime Meridian, cocktails and appetizers at Latitudes, or simple coffee and snack combos at Morsel’s.

This was my second stay at the OMNI and I love this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. This recently stay was for business and I truly had an opportunity to enjoy the hotel and what it had to offer. From the CNN Tour tickets, to the amazing views and great customer service. I’ll definitely stay again!

The hotel is in a great location and the personnel are awesome. But the physical building is run down. Dark rooms and bathrooms and outlets that barely work. They need more lights in room and bathroom. They need better and more elevators. We saw people waiting 20 mins for one. Fortunately we were on the 4th floor and took the stairs. Had I… Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the CNN Omni as we do each time. Very spacious rooms, large suites, nice for hosting and entertaining, great bar, large food court downstairs in the south tower, and great views from the inside balconies as well as the outside balconies of Centennial Park home of the 1996 Olympics. It's centrally located in the center of Coca-cola factory, The Aquarium, and the College Football Hall of Fame. My kids went as well and had a great time. The one thing that was not very impressive is the pool. Rather small for a such a large hotel. Outside of that it was awesome! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating It’s an old motel

Half of the elevators were out of order. The thermostat in the room didn’t work. The next night we stayed in a $100 dollar a night motel. It was more updated and everything worked. The Omni has a great location but is poorly maintained.
