Allocated our room, it directly overlooking Bourbon Street, we were shocked at the cacophony of noise, that was unrelenting until 4am local time. It really is a ‘party street’, with revellers enjoying copious amounts of booze, singing and dancing plus the air was heavy with the fragrance of pot. I should have done more research! The Marriott website says “Relax at our Hotel on Bourbon Street in New Orleans”. Mmmm Rooms were clean and housekeeping provided every other day. In room safe big enough to accommodate laptop. Next morning, we requested a room change and given room 417 - right at the back of the hotel - and whilst you could hear some noise, it was so much better. Happier in our new room, it was a good location to explore New Orleans. Read less

Excellent Stay right on Bourbon Street - although you want a room that faces Toulouse Street, not Bourbon Street (it is too noisy). Staff was great and helpful. We took the breakfast option eyeing saved time in the morning. Definitely will stay here again

The reception staff were so very helpful, as indeed were all the staff. The rooms are serviced alternate days but you can request additional towels and coffee. There is complementary water on alternate days. Having previously stayed in New York we were amazed we were not charge an additional daily supplement for Wi-Fi etc. The hotel do offer a breakfast which we had on 3 mornings and was reasonably priced and there was a decent selection. The bar is pleasant. Our room had a balcony and it was lovely to sit on our balcony early evening and enjoy a glass of wine. It was too chilly to sample the pool but in hot weather it would be a welcome bonus. We have nothing negative to say about the hotel and based on our stay would recommend it to others. Read less

Nice hotel....EXCELLENT location!!!! Close to everything in the French Quarter. If you want LOUD, stay on Bourbon/Toulouse side. We had a balcony on the courtyard side and didn't hear a thing. They do give you earplugs, but we didn't need them. Security was pretty good about checking for your room key at the front door. Beds and pillows were… Read more

Beds and pillows were comfy, and it was nice to be able to stream Netflix on our TV. Breakfast "to-go" was good. Uber meeting spot was less than a block away. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!!!
