Went there with a senior citizens trip through Collette. Very nice hotel. Helpful staff. Great concierge. Fluffy towels. Hot water. Great TV channels. Clean. Good gift shop. Near everything. Bus stop is right there. Great places to eat within walking distance. Walking distance to French quarter and casino.

I have stayed at a lot of the hotels in New Orleans and this is the worst ever, I asked for a manager 3 times twice Saturday and once when i checked out. The room was nasty, the air did not work and the remote did not work. Housekeeping changed the remote 4 times and still did not work. For the amount of money we spent for one night it was the… Read more

The hotel restaurant was the worst dining experience of our trip. The service was terrible and the food matched the service. Multiple requests for coffee were ignored and the staff did not know the hotel policy on food vouchers. The hotel restaurant was the worst dining experience of our trip. The service was terrible and the food matched the service. Multiple requests for coffee were ignored and the staff did not know the hotel policy on food vouchers. My wife had to take our bill to the front desk to have it straightened out so that we were charged the correct amount. The manager from the front desk had to come up and discuss it with the restaurant manager to ensure that we were charged the correct amount. Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. This was actually the first and only time I have ever been served cold coffee. The housekeeping staff are incredibly nice but the hotel called them away to work on some other rooms and they did not clean our room until almost 5:00 pm. We left and came back several times before they got our room cleaned. No o apologies were provided or given. Read less

The hotel is very conveniently situated for the French Quarter and for conference centres. It is very slightly dated (some 1970s’ floor-coverings) but very comfortable. The rooms are beautifully kept and the service is very good. The bar is a let-down and we never found a restaurant. One very poor feature: check-in queues are dreadful; nowhere… Read more

I spend 100+ nights per year in all levels of accommodations and travel to NOLA 3 or 4 times per year. Additionally due to my industry/company I was required to travel during the entire COVID nightmare. I totally understand the challenges and changes the pandemic brought to hotels and have a great deal of respect for the hospitality industry as a whole. Regards to NOLA accommodations; I accept a certain level of "quirkiness" and know from past experiences to have a lowered expectation. I'll keep this brief: All interactions with staff was friendly and professional. Elevators are fast and efficient. Public spaces and rooms looked clean on the surface. Everything functioned in our rooms and daily bottled water was appreciated. Areas that warrant my 2 star review: Entire property/rooms are dark and dated beyond belief. A 1000 room convention level Sheraton with only one men's restroom for all food/beverage outlets and ball rooms should be illegal. Toiletry/gift store will not allow you to charge to your room. Breakfast buffet each morning was the exact "basic" offerings, absolutely no variety. Provided free WIFI was useless for anything more than texting and basic email. Room smelled of old smoke Room with large permanent stains on walls and ceiling was gross. Bathroom shower with minimal water pressure. Bathroom ceiling pealing paint. Reservation stated extra pillows due to us having COPD. Confirmed pillows via phone call and at check-in. Arrived at room and no pillows. All pillows were either lumpy or completely flat to where it was comical. Maids entered room on two days with do not disturb sign on door? At a room rate of $289.00+ per night; expensive compared to other more updated properties in walking distance; even other Bonvoy brands. Read less
