Wanted to drop a note about some great service at the bar/lounge in the lobby, Shana. She was very nice and went out of her way to be excellent. We were there for a conference which included some very stressful presentations, and the little gestures added up to make it a little more bearable. Sorry if I spelled the name wrong, but hope the review… Read more

Riverside Hilton is old but lovely inside, perfectly maintained, with flawless service and all the amenities you could ask for. This was my 3rd great stay. No mold odors, no dust or detectable chemicals (except chlorox in the bathrooms), and very good room temp controls. Rooms are modern, functional, average size, and very quiet. Comfy beds.… Read more

No mold odors, no dust or detectable chemicals (except chlorox in the bathrooms), and very good room temp controls. Rooms are modern, functional, average size, and very quiet. Comfy beds. Upper floors with lovely panoramic views of river or city. Starbucks and an excellent New Orleans Seafood restaurant, Drago’s, in the hotel. Great location: Attached to RiverWalk shopping mall and Convention center. Adjacent to Riverside park and Audubon Aquarium. About 25 min flat walk to Bourbon St. and French Quarter shops, restaurants, and historic sites. Also on the tourist train route, if you’d rather not walk. Large outdoor pool, & huge gym with 2 floor exercise rooms, multiple ball courts, spin room, large selection of treadmills, ellipticals, steppers, recumbent bikes, & rowing machines, large number of Precor exercise machines, and excellent weight sets. Very nice Convention spaces. Wonderful views of river boat traffic from hotel and nearby park. Recommended. Read less

Chose this hotel because it was recommended by the trade show I attended at the Convention center. Very high price and the experience just did not come close to the amount charged. Rooms are outdated and the beds I had were well worn to say the least

A large convention hotel. Riverside building is older and in a desperate need of a refresh. Make sure to ask for a room in a main building. The hotel is right by the train tracks, so every 3-4 hours you would be woken up with a trail coming through. Our room was pretty basic. Furniture looked pretty tired. Wouldn't stay there again unless… Read more
