Q & C Hotel New Orleans

New Orleans, Louisiana

The hotel

An intimate, boutique hotel, bursting with local charm and character, the Q & C Hotel is perfectly located for exploring numerous city sights – including the historic Jackson Square and the banks of the Mississippi River. It’s also delightfully trendy, with BB King and Led Zeppelin amongst the artists to delight you as you travel floor to floor via the elevator! As for the guest rooms, they feature stunning décor, unique to each room with exposed brick walls and original wood floors giving you a real feel for the history. There are restaurants all around you but the hotel’s own bar is a must, serving a great range of cocktails and daily specials such as stone-fired pizzas and burgers. Happy Hour lasts slightly longer here – between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, treat yourself to an Old Fashioned with bourbon or, as you’re so close to the French Quarter, a sparkling French 75!

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Laid-back charm, but sadly, theft

The photo does not look anything like my room. My room was very small for two people, a king size bed, crowded but altogether a laid-back, charming New Orleans feel. I would have given this hotel 3 or 4 stars just for it's charm, but everything was ruined when someone stole a very special necklace from me. I had two necklaces and they chose the prettiest one. However the one they left behind, a much more subtle design actually had real diamonds. Still, they shouldn't have stolen anything. I'm sorry they did. Read less

I stayed here with some friends on a girls trip. They had stayed here before and really liked it so they wanted to stay here again. I think it was average and will stay elsewhere next time I return. There were a few check in issues that my friend had to deal with but I will let her write about that part if she wants. The hotel is not directly… Read more
I stayed here with some friends on a girls trip. They had stayed here before and really liked it so they wanted to stay here again. I think it was average and will stay elsewhere next time I return. There were a few check in issues that my friend had to deal with but I will let her write about that part if she wants. The hotel is not directly in the madness but close enough to walk to everything easily. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and we had to have our toilet repaired during our stay. I hate the style of rolling bathroom doors that they have here. We also had issues with the heater/ac unit. The bar in the hotel was convenient but the employees working in it were not as nice as the other hotel employees. So there was good and bad and it was overall average. Read less

We had the pleasure of staying at the Q&C for a conference nearby. Shaun at the front desk was so nice upon arrival. And Keith and Darrin working the door were welcoming and very hospitable. They all made an impression which elevated our stay. Thank you for the great service!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Q&C for the second time. It is a nice, clean hotel with friendly service in a good location near the French Quarter. Upon arriving, we had a very challenging time with a malfunctioning door lock and found the response of the manager on site inadequate. This could have easily put a bad light on our entire stay.… Read more

Upon arriving, we had a very challenging time with a malfunctioning door lock and found the response of the manager on site inadequate. This could have easily put a bad light on our entire stay. But the following morning, I recounted our story to the front desk, Christian (manager) and Vanessa. Their response was perfect, both understanding and accommodating. They were able to turn our stay into a positive experience and as a result, we will be revisiting the Q&C soon. Read less

We were on 12th floor. It took a very long time to get hot or even warm water to our sink and shower. Room was pretty small. Otherwise, we loved. Breakfast was delicious and they have a lively bar. We brought our dog -but closest green space several blocks away... maybe they could put something on the alley...
