This hotel feels like a boutique hotel. It’s cozy with a social area in the lobby to play pool or some Jenga. There is a bar too. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s 1 1/2 miles from the famous Broadway area and a easy walk over. I would stay here again.

Great front desk Staff very helpful for dining recommendations Inchina was good. Housekeeping staff was very helpful in getting a rollaway put in our room and new bedding for our daughter. Breakfast selection was very good as well. Rooms a bit dated. Close to most everything especially Vanderbilt. Would go back again

I have read negative reviews of this hotel, and my experience was nothing like some of the things I see on this site. The hotel was formerly something else, but the Aloft was similar in other ways to what I know about the brand. Check in was a breeze and my room was beautiful. Fun art on the walls, very fluffy towels, comfortable beds, and amazing water pressure in the shower and in the sink. All the staff I encountered in the halls or elevator were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The only problem I encountered was a slow elevator so I just used the steps to go to my second floor room most of the time. Would definitely stay here again. Read less

Not your typically well maintained Marriott property. Old, kinda dirty, worn furniture. Not worth the money. Also has an$30 a night parking requirement. Get closer to downtown if you want to pay this rate.
