Went to the pool for a bit of relaxation on 07/15/19 starting about noon-1pm and of course wanted to get a coke and maybe a burger by the pool. HOWEVER NOT POSSIBLE. THE CONCESSION AREA WAS CLOSED!!!! Not accepting that, I called the hotel operator to see why and if it was closed all day. FIRST she told me it was closed for a “bit” and would re-open soon. I replied I did not mean to be pushy but was hungry and asked if she could better define “it would re-open SOON”. She placed me on hold and went to check and came back saying the concession was CLOSED ALL DAY. Then I asked if I could order room service and get cokes and a burger delivered to the pool area - She informed me “NO” ROOM SERVICE DID NOT DELIVER TO THE POOL. At this point totally frustrated after spending $335 per night at this hotel I asked “what he hell is up at this hotel, to which she hung up on me saying I had no right to curse her out. SERIOUSLY the word hell when used toward a hotel not an individual is defined as cursing someone out!!!!! I then called the General Managers office and asked for his assistant and she was amazingly helpful. She explained to me they close the pool when weather is bad. BAD - all day today it has been beautiful except for being overcast. Thus this hotel has a leadership team and General Manager that thinks overcast clouds in the sky in an otherwise beautiful day is reason enough to make sure CUSTOMERS DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE AT THE POOL. Chose a hotel that thinks more of their customers than they do at the Omni in Nashville. Read less

Absolutely loved staying at the Omni. They were so polite, kind, funny, helpful and just made you feel welcomed. My room was on the 21st floor and had an awesome view. Barlines was a great eatery/bar to be at for dinner or late night. We had a great time with the band and dancing all night. It was close to Broadway so being able to walk to and… Read more

But listen, if you're going for a quick getaway sans kids, stay somewhere else - maybe the JW Marriott, I don't know. This hotel was Bachelor/Bachelorette Mecca! The room doors didn't block out any noise and at 230am, that's just not cool. And the pool? For a 20+ story hotel it's ridiculously small - like an over-sized lap pool and not even close to enough chairs to accommodate those wanting to just chill. People were coming down at 6am to place towels on chairs to just reserve them. Which means when you come out at 1030 there's nothing left. Security had to come out several times to calm the bachelor party's drunk fest. Which generally wouldn't bother me, but it was BAD. But the pool bar was good - food too. Kitchen Notes was good. Not great but good. Biscuits were different and the whole reason to try it out. I particularly liked the bacon/pimento cheese, but nothing else stood out as spectacular. We did stop by for drinks one evening and the bartender was fantastic! And don't get me started on the homeless panhandling in front of the hotel. We're Dallas people and I lived in NYC for a while. The homeless don't bother me but here they did. Constantly asking for money and cigarettes. When I told one we didn't have cash, she said she took Venmo. It was very odd. Over all, this hotel had a fabulous location but that's really about it. If you're traveling with your spouse and want quiet and relaxing, this just ain't your place. Read less

We stayed On the eighth floor with a view of the AT&T (Batman) building and the hotel pool. The room was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. This hotel is in a perfect location right down from Broadway st. We walked everywhere. We did Uber to places that weren’t downtown. I would not recommend driving, leave your car park. The Country music Hall of Fame is connected to the hotel along with the hatch print show store. You just walk down the hallway and don’t have to leave the hotel. On A side note, The drinks at the Barlines restaurant are expensive. Go downtown for drinks. There are other hotels but I would definitely recommend this one it’s worth it. Read less
