Nice hotel. Room was comfortable. No dresser space for clothing for two people. Only had 8 hangers to hang clothing for a week. Ba5room door very heavy. “Maid” service was good. The restaurant was next to lobby. Food was okay. Quantity and quality were just okay. Felt like a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun, for start of day. Coffee was hot,… Read more

Coffee was hot, the cinnamon bun was a cold dry hockey puck. Drinks in restaurant and bar were okay, but High priced. There is a little coffee shop/emporium on the other side of lobby. Products were okay. Not sure if I would return to this hotel. Also this hotel was 1/2 mile from event, so not really close. Read less

We stayed here for the last night of our US road trip. I was a bit worried given the negative reviews and people commenting that this is a large corporate hotel but there was no need to worry. This may be what you're used to as a "corporate hotel" in the US, but for a UK/Kiwi resident, it was anything but (I was imagining it might be like a huge Travel Lodge or Premier Inn but did not need to fear!) Room was big with comfortable beds and a sizeable bathroom. The onsite gym was the best of all the hotel gyms on our trip. However the only pool is indoors, and there is nowhere to sit outside, other than a walled area with no views (not that we were there to sit outside in the c 35c heat). I suggest you do not use hotel parking. I think valet was $45 night, and the parking garage they use is right across the street (City Library parking garage) where we parked our own car for 26 hours for the grand total of $14. There is even a covered walkway between the parking garage and the hotel. Try and park on level 4 or level 5 if you can. Broadway view rooms are not worth extra as there are too many buildings in the way to see anything. We were given a late check out (on request) free of charge, meaning 1pm checkout instead of midday. The downside- if you are a light sleeper bring eye shade and extra hair clips because curtains don’t close all the way. Bring ear Plugs or stay facing away from the street because you can hear the music from cars driving by and there is construction everyone around the hotel. Lots to do and music to hear but 3 days was more than enough. If we go again would stay in the more quiet upscale Gulch area. Read less

The bar on the 3rd floor, the Bridge, was a nice place to hang out – we visited there before and after the concert! It was a relaxing and comfortable bar with good service. The room was updated and very nice, we also had a great view (22nd floor.) They even had cool wallpaper in bathroom fit for a ‘Music City’ (See my pic.) We also loved their humorous sign at the ice machine room – ‘Ice Ice Baby’ (LOL) The staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was busy 4th of July holiday week. We felt the $42 for valet parking was a bit pricey... but overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Very rude checkin and a miniscule room

When we checked in, the woman who checked us in was extremely rude, which I have spoken to Marriott about recently. Not a great first impression. The room was absolutely miniscule, right next to what was apparently some sort of lounge with loud talking people. For some reason we had two refrigerators, one built in and one free standing (taking… Read more

The room was absolutely miniscule, right next to what was apparently some sort of lounge with loud talking people. For some reason we had two refrigerators, one built in and one free standing (taking up room). Nice bathroom, but not one hook to hang up a towel (and they want you to 'go green'...but where to hang?! One redeeming thing...my husband and daughters ate at the 'Little Fit' and my girls thought the chicken soup was "the BEST chicken soup EVER!". Oh, and eeks, the valet is $42 PLUS TAX. Read less
