The room takes forever to cool off after 4 hours still haven’t got below 73 degrees. The pillows on the bed when you lay on them goes flat even with 2 pillows on top of each other. Then after spending hours walking around which the hotel is great place to walk from. The shower had no pressure the water just barely trickled out. The toilet had more pressure than the shower. With the high price you pay to stay at the hotel you would expect better than what this hotel has to offer. Very disappointed as we stay with Marriott on all our vacations. Read less

We enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance in Nashville. Music themed hotel in the heart of everything! We didn’t know it was attached to the library, which would have been cool to see. Good drinks in the bar!

Stayed four nights - felt welcomed, comfortable and slept well. Before booking I called the hotel with some questions and had a good feeling before we arrived. The person I spoke with gave me clear walking directions to a couple restaurants and gave me a honest and sincere response to other questions. We arrived late and appreciated the the check-in process was quick, welcoming and the room was immediately ready, clean and comfortable. Loved the view at night (picture attached)! When we went to the lounge, all of the staff were really helpful & friendly both in the morning and evening. In the evening they had some wonderful snacks and staff who made you feel welcomed. House cleaning was also extremely accommodating and helpful to us. Although we took an Uber to many places we also walked to Broadway and back in the evening. A note on Uber as I got two unwanted cancellations from drivers who went to the other side of the hotel. Make sure you use the address on Commerce, where people check-in to the hotel and valet park. Otherwise you too will waste your time & money with Uber drivers who never show up.. Would definitely stay here again! Read less

Renaissance is a world class brand and most everything was perfect. The location is one city black from the Ryman Theatre and Broadway. However if your trip involves the convention center, the Hilton and Omni are better locations. The staff was great and very attentive. The doormen were very helpful accessing transportation but also great resources of local information. Folks at the front desk were always helpful and full of smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean in every area we visited. The restaurant was great and the breakfast buffet was top notch. The servers were friendly and attentive. The only slight negative was housekeeping. Two of the 4 nights we didn't get service even though we were out of the room for most of the day. The have a process for calling for service through the front desk, which worked great, but the housekeepers did not speak English well enough to fully understand requests. However, they did a fine job and considering there were several conventions in our area, they did great. Read less
