Renaissance is a world class brand and most everything was perfect. The location is one city black from the Ryman Theatre and Broadway. However if your trip involves the convention center, the Hilton and Omni are better locations. The staff was great and very attentive. The doormen were very helpful accessing transportation but also great resources of local information. Folks at the front desk were always helpful and full of smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean in every area we visited. The restaurant was great and the breakfast buffet was top notch. The servers were friendly and attentive. The only slight negative was housekeeping. Two of the 4 nights we didn't get service even though we were out of the room for most of the day. The have a process for calling for service through the front desk, which worked great, but the housekeepers did not speak English well enough to fully understand requests. However, they did a fine job and considering there were several conventions in our area, they did great. Read less

Couldn't be a better location as it's walking distance from most anywhere we wanted to go. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the food there was excellent. Nice bar with live entertainment as you enjoy your meals. Bathrooms could stand a little updating but the rooms and beds were cozy and comfortable. Will definitely stay here next… Read more

Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. I had made our reservation selecting to pay extra for the "high floor" room. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. I had made our reservation selecting to pay extra for the "high floor" room. It was my wife's birthday and we had loved the hotel a decade earlier when we had stayed on the 22nd floor. Not only did we have to push our way through around a hundred drunk "fraternity boys" as the desk clerk had described them we also were informed that our room was given away. We were given an upgrade (which I didn't want, I had already seen the "upgraded" room online and it was nothing special at all) on the 8th floor. The 8th floor facing a parking garage, not a "high floor" room at all. Also as a concession we were given a single day breakfast coupon, we were staying the weekend, for a day when we had plans for breakfast. To add to my frustration, after I had seen our room, it's location and just how miserable we were with the way we had been treated I called to talk to the manager. I was told they were busy and I would be contacted later. That never happened. Once again the next morning I repeated the call for the manager. They were unavailable at that time as well. Worst hotel, worst service, worst experience. I know nothing ever comes from these notes, but it's horrible to spend almost 1000 for the weekend and hate every moment. Read less

I've stayed at many hotels in Nashville over the years, and this is my new favorite. I am a Marriott Titanium member, and was awarded with a room on the 25th floor overlooking the Ryman! The hotel is just beautiful, and the rooms are quiet and perfect. Beds are very comfortable, and the Aveda amenities are appreciated. The staff was welcoming and… Read more

But the best part is the location. A short walk to Broadway, the Arena and Printers Alley. This is my new go-to hotel in Nashville, and I can't wait to come back in May. Read less

I read the reviews before we stayed and knew to park in the garage myself instead of valet . It was easy with the bridge connecting the parking garage to the hotel , plus after 10pm you have to have a room key to open the door from the parking garage so I felt safe ! The hotel was very nice ! I loved the decor and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We had a double queen room on the 19th floor . The view was beautiful, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were multiple elevators so we never waited long , plus they were all glass so you had a nice view of the city while riding . We were in town for a concert at Bridgestone and the location was AMAZING. It was one block from the arena . We never felt unsafe walking , even late at night. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again ! Read less
