Staying in the area is pricey. It was totally worth it for us to stay within a short walk of the canyon. It made it really easy for my family and I to get to the rim early in the morning. Not a luxury hotel, but a perfectly fine place to stay. It is SO quite and dark outside. It was awesome.

My family and I are not "outdoorsy" people. We wanted a more authentic Grand Canyon stay and were pleasantly surprised to secure a reservation at the Maswik. It is a no frills stay, but the rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the location is unbeatable. You don't stay in the Maswik for Four Seasons accommodations. You stay here for the… Read more

Perfectly situated between the canyon rim and the food court, these rustic lodges offer a great balance of comfort, modern amenities, and nature. The rooms are older, but they are quite comfortable, clean, and our room on the second floor was very quiet. They are a bit on the smaller side, but we were thankful GCNP offered accommodations that would allow 5 of us to stay in the same room. It is pretty tight with the rollaway bed but we didn't come to the Grand Canyon to stay in the room! The convenience of staying in the park is hard to beat. Plenty of nature around too. We saw deer, lizards, and prairie dogs up close and at dusk, be sure look up to see some bats. We would stay here again. Read less

Great home base for hiking at Grand Canyon - we were in a Juniper, on top floor . Plenty of room for family of 4 ( 2 teens)- small fridge and great a/c- steps away from Bright Angel trail and from shuttle to hermets rest. Limited food options due to covid but we ate a cafeteria twice and at eltovar and the fountain. With high temperatures in the… Read more
