While there is a bit of an old school vibe, the place resonates with luxury and attention detail. Our room had a stunning view of Hanelei Bay. Staff was attentive without being obsequious. The infinity pool gives me new appreciation for the term! Only cons: 1) bathroom window into room creates light pollution if someone turns on bathroom light… Read more

Where do I start- First off, I despise writing negative reviews, and rarely ever do I. Upon our arrival, our first impression was that this was a really nice hotel...at one time! The hotel is definitely showing its age and is in dire need of an entire remodel. Now the really fun part- we (3 of us) visited the spa twice. The last time was the day before we left. Service was sub-par at best- knuckles and elbows! We were offered another treatment at no charge, but wewere leaving the next day, so could not. Upon checkout, we reviewed the bill and saw that the spa was credited off (there may be hope after all). Bill reviewed and PAID IN FULL at time of checkout. ... SURPRISE ... 2 MONTHS after we checked out, I receive a new charge on my credit card for the spa services! They actually manufactured a new bill, and charged my credit card! I cannot imagine any other quality establishment of having such fraudulent practices! Read less

So sad to see this property in such a run down state. We stayed here 12 years ago and it was AMAZING. The service, the property and the views were all 5 star or higher. Now the cushions are ripped, the umbrellas are tattered, the cabanas are soiled from years of no maintenance. The staff is continually apologizing for the condition of items.… Read more

Complete mismanagement of a hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. If the owners are going to renovate, they should close the hotel and get started. This is a complete shame. My wife and I took a break from adventuring to stop in for a drink. Our baby was hot, and we wanted a place to sit, relax, and recharge. This was a great spot. The drinks were tasty and creative, and the views from the main-level lounge were fantastic! Even though we weren't hotel guests, we were able to walk around, check out the pool and… Read more

Property appears rundown, interiors are dated, and the poolside food is awful. We were expecting a lovely, luxury property, with great dining. The property does not look well maintained, the pool chairs are old, worn, and uncomfortable. The poolside food is really poorly prepared. The best thing about the property are the views which are lovely.
