Well worth the price - our room had an ocean view and was enormous. The small details were wonderful - Milton Brown toiletries, a miniature kitchen with dishes refreshed daily, and power outlets galore. Kayla at the pool was a true delight - this hotel acts as a sanctuary from the hustle of larger resorts and lives up to its five star reputation. The grounds are more like a tropical forest than a hotel - lush, pristine, fabulous. Gym is not large but offers wonderful views especially if working out in the morning. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Read less

This resort is quiet and intimate, a rarity for Hawaii and Maui as far as I know. The rest of you adult only travelers this place is perfect. Rooms are perfectly designed, even the kitchenette is clever for how it’s done. Way more spacious than hotel rooms, fantastic balconies, I had partial ocean view and it was everything I needed. The restaurant is fantastic too. We enjoyed the free shuttle just about every day to other locales in Wailea, don’t think I ever had to wait more than five minutes. Nothing negative to say. A#1 from the staff to the landscaping to the restaurant and on… Read less

After two days at a touristy beachfront hotel, Hotel Wailea, which is off the beach and terraced into the tony Wailea hillside above, was the perfect two night stay. The hotel couldn't have done anything better if it tried. It is flawless. The rooms are impeccable; the mini kitchens are wonderful. Used the open-to-outdoors gym, with Peloton bikes. The pool setting was intimate and relaxing. We did not visit the beach below. Instead, curled up on shady, balmy, breezy private terrace patio furniture and an outdoor hammock and read books, ate pineapple and poke and drank wine and rejuvenated. The nearby gourmet food market is like Whole Foods on steroids, if you don't feel like restaurants. If you do, book an early hotel restaurant table for a sunset view. Hotel Wailea is understated and exquisite. Read less

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Hotel Wailea more. The property is gorgeous and the food, service and attention to detail is amazing. With many trips to Maui over the years, I only heard about this hotel because of a wedding we were attending, and we will definitely return soon!

This is an amazing peaceful and beautiful hotel. Will not go anywhere else when in Maui. The pool was quiet and beautiful, everyone was helpful and the electric bikes were perfect to navigate Maui. Do not stay anywhere else.
