RSC could be a first-class resort if the management paid more attention. The location and facility are lovely but many of the details that would make it top-notch are overlooked. During our stay, the common areas are often littered with used dishes and beverages, light bulbs in the room were out when we checked in and the Bluetooth on the Bose system wouldn't sync with our phones. According to an in-room printed card the management welcomes input, but an email sent to the address provided bounced back. Finally, this place charges a daily resort fee of $30 regardless of facility usage. While I understand this is a common industry practice, as a consumer, I feel hostage to fees for services I may never use. Plus, the hotel refused to negotiate the fee even though the outdoor walk way to the pool area was under construction and the detour was ugly and had areas of exposed electrical wires crossing the path. Overall the property seems understaffed, overlooked and in need of a good quality-control manager. Read less

Squaw Creek is a beautiful resort an I have stayed there a couple of time. Not 5 stars in my book anymore. Lots of issues and poor customer service. Rented 3 suites yesterday for my family. Waited nearly an hour for our luggage to be brought up to the room, ordered a wheelchair for my 85-year-old Mother, waited another hour and when it arrived it was broken and in poor condition. Tried to get her down to pool area and the way you are supposed to go was completely blocked off with tables and chairs. Lots of construction going on the outside stairs. Had to go way around by the golf path and nearly dumped her out of the chair several times. Not ADA accessible friendly at all. I had ordered their top champagne and cheese tray to be in our room to celebrate a special occasion. Wasn't in the room or delivered on time. Went to wrong room so we all moved to that room. In the midst of starting to begin eating a sorry looking cheese tray they returned to the room and took it back staring it was for another guest. Had to call down and sort out their mistake and they re-delivered. The tray had a few slices of cheese a blob of jelly and a few crackers. Not enough for 4 people let alone the 9 people I had in my party. All this made us late for our dinner reservations to their steak house. Waiter was really nice and did a great job but took a very long time to get food and when it came out it was cold. Not even close to a fine dining experience. My credit card came up missing somewhere at the restaurant and after blocking it some thief was attempting to charge on it at their sports store. Breakfast was an extended bad choice. $110 for 3 eggs Benedict with very little hollandaise and a plate full of French fries. Had one other older of 1 egg with bacon and again French fries for breakfast. 2 orders came out and had to wait another 20 minutes for my order to come out. Asked for extra abuse to come out with my order and of course it had to wait another 10 min do breakfast was cold and certainly not worth $110. Overall weekend with the 3 suites and an $800 plus dinner ran me about $4500. Rooms and scenery are beautiful. Shower didn't drain and phones didn't work. Best part is the pool and Jacuzzis. They are awesome. The rest not so good. Read less

We loved the family friendly atmosphere at Squaw Creek. The pool & water slide were the highlight of our stay. We bad a blast, beautiful view, good amenities, friendly staff, the only annoying part was the loud construction, but I can leave with it for one day. We definitely will be coming back here, the parking was free, and the wifi was fast

What a view of Squaw valley. What a property and what a pool. There is something for everyone here. We are at the restaurants and the food and service were excellent. Such a great way to end our summer.
