Rio Las Vegas

Las Vegas, USA

The hotel

Not all Las Vegas showstoppers are on the Strip – just look at Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, where your super-sized suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and jaw-dropping views of Las Vegas Valley. Seemingly inspired by the Strip’s global ‘landmarks’, the Rio’s 12 restaurants take you on a worldwide tour, from the Asian flavours of its dim sum, Vietnamese, and Indian eateries to the hearty American favourites of VooDoo Steakhouse, which takes in the glitz of Vegas from its 50th floor vantage point. The VooDoo theme continues with the Rio’s VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub; VooDoo Zipline, which gives you 360 degree views of the Strip (if you can open your eyes as you hurtle at 33 miles an hour); and VooDoo Beach, featuring four tropical pool zones, three whirlpools, poolside spa treatments, cocktail bars, and a carnival spirit.

I have stayed at the Rio before and had very pleasant experiences. However, my stay this time, for my birthday, was disappointing in regards to the room. Even though the room was clean, the decor and furniture were very old and tired. Not what I had previously experienced nor what was described on the website. I read this letter circulating the internet regarding someone being banned because they claimed they had written a bad review about the RIO. I frequent Vegas monthly and had never stayed at the RIO, but I loved the room I was in, the view was nice and most importantly the staff were friendly and helpful in helping me navigate through their busy halls due to the WSOP. I ate at the Hashhouse and visited the Starbucks there daily. No complaints. Read less

The room was nice. Sadly we couldn’t find anywhere with breakfast during the week. We had to off site for that. We did not have to pay for parking at the Rio which saves you alot of money. If you sign up for a Caesars credit card, you get free parking at all the othr hotels, that are Caesars like,Harrah's,the Flamingo etc. This saves you about $15.00 to $20.00 a day or more depending on how many Caesars hotels you visit in one day. I do not suggest the Rio… Read more
