Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best. Feel like you’re attending an actual wedding — Tony n’ Tina’s to be precise, or take a step to the left with the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dining at Bally’s can be sumptuous with bottomless Champagne, caviar and lobster or play it simple and grab a martini and an appetiser at the Steakhouse Bar.

From the pre-trip phone calls to check out, Bally’s was first class all the way. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The check in and check out processes were streamlined and effective and the staff was outstanding. The only negative was having to walk a country mile over to the Paris to catch an airport cab. The hotel room is a great value for the room charge AND the staff is great and very accommodating. HOWEVER, I am very disappointed in the Caesars organization. You are opening slowly and amenities and restaurants are still closed within your hotels, yet you have NO issues charging a $41.95 resort fee per day basically for the wifi. You are trying to get people to come back to LV by charging the FULL and I personally believe an extraordinary high fee for what you are getting. First, charge an appropriate amount for the room and a much lower resort fee. Secondly, given conditions, please provide a brief update on each hotel. Example. NO VALET RESTAURANTS CLOSED etc. You want us back, don’t take advantage of us. Read less

Got $0 invoice after checkout but surprised Billings for room, food, resort fees on 7/30. Got charged for daily resort fee but internet was not working. Well things started off good, until Bally’s showed it’s true colors this evening. Staying a week, then 2 days in we called about our room not cooling to the set temp. They sent up a nice mechanic, checked it and set it to 60 saying it’ll work better than the standard 65. Third day (today) we kept the air at 60 the whole day and night, came back into the room and it was 70. Called the desk again, they sent a mechanic again, said it’s as good as it can be even though his temp gun said it was 70 in the room. He left and said he’d tell management. Front desk gave us another room, but without the strip view (even though that was the booking I paid for online). Walked in and it was not clean, let alone sanitized like it said it was on the red tape before entering. The floors were dirty and there was a large white powder substance in the middle of it, along with the horrible strong odor of men’s aftershave. Went back to the front desk explaining and the manager was full of attitude toward me, basically saying my first room was fine, but he’s “not going to argue with me”. Stuck in another room, 11pm at night, and know that I will never stay at Bally’s again. Read less
