Bally's Hotel and Casino

Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best. Feel like you’re attending an actual wedding — Tony n’ Tina’s to be precise, or take a step to the left with the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dining at Bally’s can be sumptuous with bottomless Champagne, caviar and lobster or play it simple and grab a martini and an appetiser at the Steakhouse Bar.

Good location on strip however I was given a smoking room which I did not want. They said that was all they had left, yet it was early in the day. Very strong smoke smell so all my clothes now smell smoke. Asked for wake-up call, but it never came. Poor service.

Since the introduction of the so called penny machines any large winnings are seldom seen however you can say that about most casinos in Vegas. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you out. The shops out front of Ballys offer a number of different options. I can stay at any Caesars properties and I usually stay at Ballys. This is my second stay here for business because my boss makes us stay here. If you have a choice I do not recommend. Both times it has been extremely loud in the jubilee tower. You cant win either way one side faces Drais nightclub and the other side faces Paris nightclub. The windows are not well insulated because this is an older hotel so its literally like your room is right in the nightclub with how loud it is. The side that faces Paris is worse. So when you have meetings or have to work in the morning you are very sleep deprived. The rooms need a deep cleaning too. There were handprints and smudges. The positive is that it is close to the monorail for traveling to the convention center. Everyone that works there is friendly too. Read less

Friendly service, clean rooms, good price, and wonderful employee recommendations for shows, restaurants, and activities. Would definitely recommend staying at Bally's. I've stayed at many establishments on the Vegas Strip, and Bally's is easily one of my favorites.
