Bellagio

Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without flashy bells and whistles, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, a Philippe Starck-designed club and O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

It is possibly even better than the Silver Legacy in Reno, Nevada. Great service! Great food! Beautiful rooms! Decent view! I felt like the King of something really great. Even the pancakes were delicious. Room was fairly priced. I want to live here.

The casino computers keep going down so cash machines won't accept tickets so have to stand in line for a teller, of which there are very few. When we cashed out of a machine, the computer would not allow it to print a ticket so had to wait 20 minutes or more to be paid by an attendent.

When the terrible service kept happening to us and those around us (we could hear staff having attitude— EG: a woman asked the service attendant at the $40 buffet what was included for $18 unlimited beverages. And she— without smiling or talking— pointed to a sign... and made the guest feel like a total idiot. We know, because she said so.) Beautiful hotel, great location- but some of the worst service I have ever seen or experienced. Read less

We had the fountain view which is a one in a lifetime experience. My husband experience a tooth ache and the Bellagio recommended a dentist and that saved our vacation. Everyone in the hotel was so helpful and everything was so beautiful. We loved the coffee shop which is right out of Italy! The hotel food was wonderful and the Piano Bar melted my heart especially when the piano player commented that he realized I was saying goodbye on our last day to my son. I am definitely coming back-just to stay and revel in the beauty of this exceptional hotel. Our maid made me feel like family. Thank you so much for a lovely experience. Worth every penny. Read less
