Bellagio

Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without flashy bells and whistles, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, a Philippe Starck-designed club and O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Ben and staff-Krystal,Jo-Ann,and Alexis went out of their way to assist me during my stay. I had several issues and they promptly resolved them all. Excellent service and extremely kind! The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. I will recommend this resort to everyone!

Bellagio still looks great. It's all about looks, though. The experience is poor. High prices, long lines, unfair practices which favor "big" spenders all gang up to spoil the experience. Not that's it's so bad, but you can get the same experience at other fine hotels for a much lower price.

We absolutely LOVE staying at Bellagio. Every part of the experience is superb. From the moment you walk in, your room, the view, the service, the food, the gym, the shopping... All of it is well above all expectations. In a town where customer service is king, Bellagio rules the kingdom.

Avoid this hotel. The rooms are out of date, shabby and hardly any necessary conveniences. Not enough plugs. One plug did not work. Bathroom had no hand shower. No coffee maker. Worst of all, we could not even open the refrigerator. If we opened it, we would be charged. We were amazed to find that we had been charged $11 because one bag of potato chips had fallen over on the bureau. We had not opened or eaten anything. We were told WHEN WE ASKED AT CHECKOUT that the sensor would charge us anyway. This hotel is designed to take your money by hook or cook. (By the way there was no warning whatsoever about the sensor policy). Stay Away. Read less

We love our stay at the Bellaggio. We have been staying at this hotel for years now. We love the botanical garden as always. My kids love the pool. My husband and I enjoy Spago restaurant because it has the best view of the fountain.
