Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Booked a penthouse suite for 1 night to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Upon checking in at 4 pm I was told that the room was not ready and that I have to wait for a text notification to inform me when the room will be available. The receptionist left me at the counter for whatever reason and came back to tell me that there was an available suite room comparable to the one I initially booked. I agreed to take it. When I got to the room, I was very disappointed to see the layout, I hate to see a bedroom just separated by furniture from the living room. I don't see why this was even comparable to the Penthouse suite and yet I was charged the same amount. The carpet was dirty especially the carpet in the bathroom, it was so old and filthy. The bed was so uncomfortable. It was not worth the $700+++ a night. This property needs a total makeover! Overrated! Not going to stay here again and will not recommend it. Read less

Loved it! All staff members were outstanding . I made the right choice for my family. The view from my room was amazing. We also enjoyed taking pictures on the Christmas setting on the first floor. 🥰

The Bellagio was a good hotel. Upon check-in we were told about a $300 deposit that we were not initially told about by our traveler’s agent. So that was a surprise for most, but of course was paid. I thought the rooms would look a little more amazing for the cost, but the bathrooms were really nice, except for the hair being in the shower and on the bathroom floor. Everything else was ok during the stay. Read less

Check-in: the no touch online check-in through the hotel app didn't work. Then the non smoking king room I booked was not available. The room has hairs on pillows and on the sinks. The service was meh.

From the moment we were booked into our hotel room trying to find someone to help us was without feeling like we were bugging them was near impossible. How many times we were disrespected: 1. Pulled up in Valet - bell guy said he would take our stuff aside till our room was ready but said he wouldn't be the one taking it to the room which he stood there staring at me to tip him 2. Check in - was OK but didn't explain fully how to make your key card once you got the text your room was ready. Then when you ask they make you feel stupid 3. Getting up to our room - Elevator man so rude. We asked which floor we were on as I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't read the paper print out. I tried showing him and since our room began with a 6 I asked if it was 6th floor. He looked for a millisecond and said yes. We get in the elevator (which was full) and try to go to 6th floor. Our key card wouldn't let us go which resulted in all the people on board getting mad till one guy looked at my paper and told me which floor. 4. Called that night to food service - just simply asked is we could get a coffee maker sent up. The girl was so rude and said: Look, if your room didn't have one, you're not getting one. (WOW) Didn't say I am sorry let me see what I can do, or I am sorry but the rooms on this floor aren't allowed. NOTHING. 5. In the casino where I spent a LOT of money, we waited hours on a machine and NEVER once was asked if we would like something to drink. In fact, while we were there the whole time we never got asked. 6. Food - ordered room service 3 times while there 2 nights (HORRIBLE) 7. Check out - Wanted to speak to the manager - he refunded some of the charges and said he was sorry for the problems we had but was not warm AT ALL - All in all this whole place needs to start over new with staffing who appreciate and / or likes their jobs.
