Check in was fine but when we asked about upgrading our room we were told that we had a nice room so we didn't feel the need to pay extra. When we got to our room in was disappointing. The view was of skid-row and a Dennys. The bathroom was so small it was difficult to close the door to use the facilities. The shower head was broken and sprayed an uneven stream. No bathtub and counter space was non-existent. No magnifying mirror for makeup so bring your own. There was a small dresser but when we went to put clothes in the handle was sticky, which in Vegas was pretty gross. Immediately asked the house keeper to come clean it for me and she sprayed a rag and handed it to me to do! The coffee maker did not work although when we told the front desk they did replace it. The carpet was dirty and the air-conditioning was a wall unit and VERY loud. Our bed was made daily but very little was done beyond that even though we left a tip everyday. The hotel is very far away from the strip and not in walking distance of anything worth seeing unless you like to hang out with street people and drug addicts. The "Strat" restaurant was loud and the food was not great. The "Top of the World" restaurant was ridiculously expensive but the view was lovely. Overall the food was also disappointing and not worth the money. I would recommend eating out. Whalburgers was great for a burger. The main hotel was old and run down. We were told that they had done a renovation but it still seemed old and had stinky carpet. We were supposed to be in a non smoking section but the smell of pot was always present. The halls and common areas in the room blocks were always extremely hot and smelled like either pot or urine. The elevators made an odd rattling sounds which was not comforting. I will say you get what you pay for but having stayed at other hotels that were similarly priced I would say this one was less than advertised. I would never go back Read less

The rooms are outdated and the public areas were uncleaned during my visit in May. The carpet are old, dirty and smelly. The rooms are large but not exceptional and in the bathroom there was not enough soap and body wash. It seems this hotel don't provide all the toilet items, so take some with you if you stay here. Also the bed sheets were old… Read more

The room we stayed in was not upgraded so we got a view of a wall hsk service skipped a couple of times for one of our rooms we had to tell hsk to service room only one trash in the room which made the trash build up quickly the restroom were big which was a plus. The pool on the roof was nice it had a bar and a place to buy something to snack on which was good, 3 hot tubs nice hang out spot. The 2nd floor had McDonald’s which is good for kids but has other areas to eat and shop. Free parking if you bring your car but because it’s at end of strip needed to either drive, walk or take taxi Uber. I recommend uber taxis are rip off. If u decide to take the tour of the stratosphere u get a deal if ur staying at hotel. Ol spo Read less

Newly remodeled, two great outdoor pools and tower with a view. Rooms are reasonably priced and spacious. Good dining options, liquor store near by, long walk to the strip but felt safe and clean. Rooftop pool is fun but windy!
