Checked in 16 Nov for 4 nights, upgraded at check-in to a remodelled room. We were really disappointed. Room 23109. Mould behind the taps. Tiles separating from the corner shower. Light above the bed not working. Approached a manager about the issues who was dismissive to say the least. She could refund one night upgrade fee and move us to a lower grade room tomorrow (as fully booked tonight) or tomorrow we could pay $150 per night for a better room. While we were talking to her she ignored us and spoke to another guest. When asking about our options if we wanted to check out within the next 45 minutes she would refund our costs. As it's marathon weekend not much else available. Reported all issues to housekeeping, just need to wait and see. No option but to stay put and hope moving tomorrow is better. Disappointing end to our American Road trip unless Stratasphere can redeem themselves. Will update if things get better. Read less

I checked in on 11/2 and checked out on 11/8. During check in they offered a room upgrade for $15 extra per night. It sounded good to me so I went for it. The first night I was there, the AC in the room would turn on and off every 5-10 minutes. I had a long travel day and had been up for 24 hours at this point. It was 1:30am. So I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance tech to check it out. Of course, when he came in the room the AC was on and working and he couldn't do anything about it. So the next morning I went to the front desk and complained. they switched me to a different room and comped that night for me which was nice. The second room was no better. They fan in the AC sounded like it had a bearing out or something and was extremely loud. The mixer handle in the shower was so hard to turn you almost had to use 2 hands to turn it and it didn't mix the water right. It was either scorching hot or cold. They also had dirty stained towels in the room which was disgusting. I had to call down to have the room cleaned after it should have already been. I also had to call down for extra towels twice. The casino was terrible. I sat at a blackjack table for 1 hour before I could even get a drink! The dealer kept an eye out for the waitress for me and she was nice. I even asked the pit boss if there was something she could do. She rudely told me "NO". The table I was at had not one seat that was empty and everyone started to leave because they wanted a drink. Ridiculous! I ate breakfast at the café every morning. The food was ok. They staff is terrible and also rude! They play the music so loud in there in the morning you can't even have a conversation at the table. This is at 6:30 in the morning. I had to ask several time if they could do something about the volume. They never did lower it. The day of checkout I went to the front desk and told them about my whole experience and they didn't seem to care the least bit. I was in town for the SEMA show with other employees of my company. I told them we would never stay there again. Trust me. Go stay somewhere else. Read less

The casino is large, but it has poor payouts for video poker, I would not recommend this place for serious gamblers, The have numerous restaurants, and Mcdonalds, and buffet. We went up the tower and had a view of the area. I give it a 6. They gave us $5 tickets to go up but regular price is $20. They charge an extra fee which is strange. The room, is updated and nice, beds are comfortable, Bathtub is large, Bathroom is a 7, Room is 6, No coffee machine in the room. Prices for room are good, you can get some good deals, Registration is on the second floor which is strange. Covered parking and free. The rooms are remodeled. Read less
