The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s right in the centre of the Las Vegas strip with many of the main attractions within easy walking distance. We had room (10048) overlooking the pool on the 10th floor and it was a decent size, but could have done with a little more TLC as its decor is a little jaded, but apart from the house phone everything worked fine. Be aware there is no tea/coffee making facilities and you’ll get charged for hot water for your room, but it’s what you’d expect from the rip off capitol of America. The room was cleaned well each day but don’t expect much by way of customer service as this hotel was seriously lacking in that respect. Read less

The staff was very good and friendly. Room was small and not a perfect hotel but casino floor is nice and room was comfortable. Getting around hotel is easy and central location to all of the strip and located near bus line for easy travel downtown

Sketch AF valet employee. Told us there were no taxi cabs available and then and offered us a ride for $50... in his friend's car... was aggressive when we said no and we will wait for a licensed taxi. We we're directed to a line in which a cab directly picked us up and we paid roughly $10 to get to our hotel two casinos down 🙃

Amazing hotel. Very clean and amazing staff. Would definitely come back. The tables minimum are great. Low enough where you can sit down and play for awhile.
