The rooms and the facilities were excellent, bar none. It's a 5-star hotel. We actually had a suite, which was more than we could ask for. It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review. First, the housekeeping ladies kept asking to clean our suite. Second, I forgot an item in the closet - I called immediately the night of my check out. The employees were pretty unenthusiastic to help - I insisted on talking to Housekeeping, Front desk after talking to Lost and Found. Housekeeping informed me that nothing had been retrieved during clean-up, and I was 100% certain I had left my item in the closet. They insisted that their hotel policy does not allow them to go back into the rooms, after cleaning/clearing out the room - which I completely understand for the sake of next guest's privacy. However, if that was the case, they should have confirmed whether someone really had checked into the room OR be able to check the room after the next guest leaves. As of right now, even if a guest left a valuable item (God forbid, a laptop or a passport), as long as housekeeping doesn't retrieve the item, it will never reach Lost and Found. I don't want to make any assumptions, but I left the item without a doubt - housekeeping didn't retrieve it. As expected, Lost and Found did not find the item in the upcoming days and kept sending me emails about how they didn't retrieve the item - duh. Lastly, the Front desk told me to file a security report. Actually, they mumbled and I had to ask 3 times. I go to the website to file the report - to my surprise, Venetian nor Palazzo is even listed as one of the venue options. No way to file the report. It's just disappointing that customer service of a 5-star hotel is not so 5-star. Personally, things in the back-end speak more volumes about a company's operation. Read less

Pool area was pretty but super crowded - and be careful to check the drink prices first - astronomical!! But the room was really well priced, the service was lovely and the location was great. Couldn't fault this hotel. Sure, it's huge and hardly personal but that would never be what you go to Vegas for! The shops in the Venetian were cool when it's 45C outside and there are some great restaurants there. Parking was free and easy, checkin and out was smooth and we were very happy with it all. Beautiful hotel, great customer service. Check-in can be chaos like many Vegas resorts, so be prepared to wait. Large suite like rooms, beautiful bathroom, nice pool area - shaded a good part of the day. Great restaurants, lots of choices.

Very nice, big and comfy rooms. Loved the big bath room. The staff is helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was included but it is not a real breakfast as we thought. It is a take away from a yoghurt place or you get a plastic bag with not really good food. Pool area is big and enough space for all people (we visited on labour day weekend). Clean… Read more
