The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. Wonder how you ever managed to stay in anything smaller than a suite before, enjoy a meal from one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, walk hand in hand down the Grand Canal shopping esplanade or party the night away in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

We stayed for 5 nights and found every team member we encountered polite and helpful. Check in was quick and smooth, the whole stay a delight with no issues. The hotel itself is beautiful, with big, spacious, and clean rooms. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience for our base for our week in Vegas.

Our room was very large and well appointed. I think for the price of the room they could have thrown in a couple of bottles of water each day and a coffee machine and kettle in the room wouldn’t break their bank. Swimming pools area should have been amazing but the pool water was freezing. Ok to sit around though, plenty of loungers. Overall we… Read more

It is a good hotel but no worth the price. They charge a $51.02 room fee for each day of you staying no matter what time you check in. The internet is not free as they ad. They actually charge you to use the WiFi if I knew it I could just use my Verizon plan. Neither their website or any third party mention anything about this ridiculous room fee… Read more

They should definitely be more clear regarding this fee, definitely We won’t go back! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Disappointing - felt more like a convention centre than a quality hotel with long waits for lifts etc.

This is meant to be a classy hotel but felt more like a packed convention centre. Long queues to get to the lifts to go up to room and then when trying to get down from your floor long waits to get a lift that you could get into. Then add to it the waits to get something as simple as a cup of coffee. The hotel is not cheap and we did not expect… Read more

Long queues to get to the lifts to go up to room and then when trying to get down from your floor long waits to get a lift that you could get into. Then add to it the waits to get something as simple as a cup of coffee. The hotel is not cheap and we did not expect this poor level of availability for things as simple as the lift. Will certainly never go back to the hotel and would suggest anyone looking to stay here checks whether there is a convention on and if there is look at alternative accommodation. This didn't impact us but only 1 of the pools was open as all others were being renovated. Read less
