We used the self check-in, which was simple, only flaw was the room description didn't state if it had one or two beds. We ended up getting a room on the 7th floor, with two beds & a view of the Fashion Show Mall. The room was a decent size, lots of traffic noise, pillows were lumpy & it was NOT very clean. There was trail mix scattered all over the floor & the worse part was the clump of hair on the tile in the bathtub... very noticeable, not sure how this was missed. The WiFi didn't work at first either. We asked at the front desk & were told, "it should," as she clicked her pen a million times. It eventually did work after a few hours. As for the casino, best way to describe it is dated, underwhelming, dirty feel. The pool was small, but nice, clean & very quiet, which made for a relaxing afternoon. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. So many better places to stay for the same price or less. Read less

Never having been to Vegas, I was stunned at the high prices and the fact that walking to any destination is always twice as far as it looks, sometimes even longer. Treasure Island has 2 things that put it far above the competition. The hotel actually has places to sit down and rest. I did not find that anywhere else. After walking many miles those seats are absolutely heavenly. The other huge advantage is that it has is that there is a CVS right next to the hotel. For purchasing water, gifts, snacks and other things it is absolutely awesome. The CVS prices are lower than the Treasure Island prices. If you don't like the CVS, there is a Walgreen's across the street, but be prepared to walk. The other advantage that Treasure Island had was that it was near a mall so you could get to the food court and eat a relatively inexpensive meal. Lunch for under $15.00 for two people is cheap by Vegas standards. The other advantage is that there is a McDonald's within walking distance from Treasure Island (again that's walking distance by Vegas' standards). Wanna see the volcano show at night at the Mirage. That too is within walking distance. Wanna see the goofy gondoliers at the Venetian, that too is within walking distance. In conclusion, the Treasure Island for me turned out to be good, because it is centrally located and I could "walk" to most of the sights which was important to me. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Don't get sucked in by the free parking sign

Nov 15, 2019 Jimsreview MA

The hotel has large sign stating free parking. The sign is accurate for one hour. After that hour the parking rates start at $12. Who stays at a hotel or goes to a Casino for only one hour!!! This hotel/Casino should be avoided.

Nov 14, 2019 Nicole R sacramento, United States

We had a view of an air conditioner unit on the 3rd floor for my Birthday trip of 4 nights. We could not see the sky or the magnificent skyline of the strip. We were told this remodeled room would be preferable to an upper older room. I have photos of the crazy view! Wish there was a place to post photo here!

We were impressed with the resort. Clean. In the middle of town. Not a fan of how well they remove the smoke from the casino. Stinks. Food was ok. Pricey like the rest of the town. Very nice rooms. too long of a wait for getting into the restaurant for breakfast.
