Delano

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

One of the newer kids on the block, The Delano brings its unique magic – a luxury boutique vibe with a playful side – from its Art Deco namesake on the sunny shores of Miami, to Las Vegas. The result is effortless style for those who like the finer things in life. The suites in this all-suite tower are the largest in Vegas, and at 43 stories high, The Delano offers some truly remarkable views over The Strip, not least from the rooftop Skyfall Lounge. Achingly cool interiors, timelessly elegant bars and a clientele to match make people-watching all part of the Delano experience. Add that to the daytime delights of a beach club, health spa, and the bonus that you are located within the equally impressive Mandalay Bay Resort complex, and you really have hit the Vegas resort jackpot.

I normally don't bother to leave bad reviews but... Aside to the fact that this hotel is very nice, stylish and clean, the service is as bad as it can get, when we checked in we got a nice room, but it was facing the freeway, it get really loud at night which make resting pretty impossible. We approached the reception to request a room change, April the rep in the front desk misheard the our room number because we were wearing masks in addition to the plexiglass separating us, after she argued with us about the number of nights we booked and that a booked through a discount third party site, which I repeatedly had to deny because I booked through them, she dismissed us with "is there anything else?!" In a very rude manner. We requested to see a manger, Ricky was nice at first, when we settled the issues involving April, I requested again to switch to a room that is not facing the freeway, keep in mind, through COVID-19 I have never seen Vegas as empty so there are plenty of rooms. Ricky's excuse was "well sanitizing the rooms are allot of work" so we got denied for the room change, and offered to give me ear plugs. The hotels have found an easy out from daily cleaning and service by riding on the covid train. The least they can do at this difficult times, when hotels are straggling to stay in business, is to give proper service. Disappointing. Read less

Very impressed with the rooms, staff and services. The safety measures were excellent. The only thing is the location at the end of the strip and due to the pandemic the train was not functional. Even with that minor detail, our experience was excellent.

Ever since I was introduced to Delano Hotel this past summer I haven't stayed anywhere else. I brought my kids along with me this time around. I love that their standard rooms have a 1.5 bathroom (a must for myself with children). The price is reasonable as well.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Dirty bath not okay

The hotel is beautiful, the prices reasonable, but the rooms are very plain/stale. They used to be much more attractive/luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. The worst part was the bathtub was dirty which worried me that their cleaning standards aren’t that great despite a pandemic causing a lot of people to not travel.
