Delano

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

One of the newer kids on the block, The Delano brings its unique magic – a luxury boutique vibe with a playful side – from its Art Deco namesake on the sunny shores of Miami, to Las Vegas. The result is effortless style for those who like the finer things in life. The suites in this all-suite tower are the largest in Vegas, and at 43 stories high, The Delano offers some truly remarkable views over The Strip, not least from the rooftop Skyfall Lounge. Achingly cool interiors, timelessly elegant bars and a clientele to match make people-watching all part of the Delano experience. Add that to the daytime delights of a beach club, health spa, and the bonus that you are located within the equally impressive Mandalay Bay Resort complex, and you really have hit the Vegas resort jackpot.

Me stayed July 8th for 3 nights. We had reservations for Mandalay Bay and paid to be upgraded to Delano. The room was very clean and spacious. That was the only positive. Our Phones in both rooms never worked the whole time we were there. They said the engineer department would fix it,that never happened. We also had an issue with both TV not… Read more

Our Phones in both rooms never worked the whole time we were there. They said the engineer department would fix it,that never happened. We also had an issue with both TV not working properly. The TV in the bedroom never worked and the one in the living room worked off and on.This is not what I expected during my Birthday vacation. I did tell management the issue,so they took off my resort fees.I had to use my cell phone and getting someone to answer took more than 15 min some days. I had to walk down to talk to someone when I needed something because the phones didn't work, that is unexceptable. Read less

I would give a 5 star except...2 reasons its not. 1. The front desk phone service SUCKED my shortest wait time on hold to front desk was 16 minutes bc it then disconnected the longest was 30 minutes in which they informed me it would be an hour until they could bring water to the room! 2. The wave pool (which has always been my family's FAVORITE… Read more

The wave pool (which has always been my family's FAVORITE part of Delano/Mandalay Bay) has done something to make their waves smaller. I felt like they barely rippled up much at all, it felt like a little kid wave pool... even my 20 year old said the waves were smaller now. Then we overheard another couple saying the same thing that the waves were smaller now :( disappointing as that is our favorite part of this hotel. The pic I posted shows about the size of the wave now :( The room was great as always and the view of the strip fun to look at at night. Comfy beds & pillows. Great WiFi. House of Blues restaurant in casino is delish! Read less

Not much to offer at this location for food but it is connected directly to the Mandalay Bay which has many options. We like the non casino hotel that is more isolated from the casino. I am are part of the Luxury Experience program they are in the beginning stages of setting up so that does enhance our experience with our stay. Read less

This casino hotel has many reasons to avoid it right now. Not sure where to begin. From the hotel elevators, the snack/beverage/ice machines. To the pool (which was the reason we came to this MLife location,) not to mention the casino/restaurant (or lack there of currently.) This is one place in Las Vegas to avoid during the current “Coroan… Read more
This casino hotel has many reasons to avoid it right now. Not sure where to begin. From the hotel elevators, the snack/beverage/ice machines. To the pool (which was the reason we came to this MLife location,) not to mention the casino/restaurant (or lack there of currently.) This is one place in Las Vegas to avoid during the current “Coroan Virus” situation. We stayed a couple of nights at Bellagio before checking in here which use to be one of our favorite places in Vegas. But no more. Bellagio definitely had it together mores so then Delano/Mandalay Bay. After this trip we won’t be back and might avoid MLife casino/resorts all together. I wish we didn’t have to leave 1 star because that was 1 star to many after this trip. Read less
