Delano

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

One of the newer kids on the block, The Delano brings its unique magic – a luxury boutique vibe with a playful side – from its Art Deco namesake on the sunny shores of Miami, to Las Vegas. The result is effortless style for those who like the finer things in life. The suites in this all-suite tower are the largest in Vegas, and at 43 stories high, The Delano offers some truly remarkable views over The Strip, not least from the rooftop Skyfall Lounge. Achingly cool interiors, timelessly elegant bars and a clientele to match make people-watching all part of the Delano experience. Add that to the daytime delights of a beach club, health spa, and the bonus that you are located within the equally impressive Mandalay Bay Resort complex, and you really have hit the Vegas resort jackpot.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating A true 3 star hotel- do not expect more

Oct 24, 2021 drivinggirl Nj

Very large plain rooms. No amenities in room provided that you would expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel . The location at the extreme end of the strip so walking over an hour to get to treasure island/venetian/wynn or a $20 rideshare. Plus near airport and stadium so very noisy even 38 floors up. Needed to be here for a conference but hopefully never… Read more

Image of the Tripadvisor rating With so many options, you should reconsider this one

I will say overall the stay was average and depending on your needs you may enjoy the hotel. The room was beautiful and I enjoyed several aspects of my stay, though when considering the many options available and the fact this should be a higher end experience, I would recommend other options. The room was beautiful and I enjoyed several aspects of my stay, though when considering the many options available and the fact this should be a higher end experience, I would recommend other options. While I had a few particular issues that really impacted my stay negatively, there were also a few really great interactions, so not totally a bad experience, though not the first place I a would consider if wanting a higher end experience in the area. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Beautiful hotel, quiet and away from the main action of the strip

Oct 23, 2021 L2206LQcrystalj

Beautiful hotel, very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and the pool was amazing! However, if you are looking to be part of the action of the strip you may want to look elsewhere. By evening most things were shut down and the vibe was very mellow. Had to go elsewhere to find that Vegas atmosphere I was looking for
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Mask enforcers need to be consistent

If the property of Mandalay Bay & Delano are going to have people enforcing mask use on casino floor & property, they need to enforce it universally!! Do not target me & leave someone 5 ft away from me alone!!

I thought I was booking Mandalay Bay, but Delano is a separate hotel. But the Delano was fine. There is a lot of walking to do, if you're going to a business meeting and going to the conference rooms. On one day, I clocked 5 miles just walking back and forth!
