Image of the Tripadvisor rating Beautiful Hotel But Elevator Noise is Unacceptable

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are large and the amenities are wonderful. It is definitely a cut above some of the other hotels in terms of beauty and service. It is a distance from the mid strip, and taxis can be a pain to get if you need to go to a show at properties like the Mandalay or MGM. My big issue with the hotel is that room 3222 should be taken out of service. It sits next to the elevator motors and you feel like you are experiencing an air raid drill all night long. Even with ear plugs and a pillow over my head, the noise was so annoying. This is not acceptable for $1000 a night hotel. Also, it faces the beach club and during the day, the thump of the base from the music can be heard loud and clear. I would stay here again, but make sure I am not near the elevators. Read less

Overall, I was very pleased with this establishment. Check in was easy and the hotel accommodated an early check in. My room was on the 6th floor. Not the best view, but VERY quiet. The suite was beautiful. Alexa that can shut off lights, close drapes, etc. the only drawback was the shampoo/lotion amenities. I used my own as these seemed cheap. The service at this hotel is excellent. Not once, did I encounter less than expected service. Breakfast was great at the Jardin and, surprisingly, very reasonable. In some areas , with high traffic, I noted debris in floors or fingerprints. On glass. Masks are required and most clients seemed to comply. Came for a business trip, but I would come back to stay as I enjoyed the vibe. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Loud music till 4am means no sleep at Encore in double Queen room

We spent 4 nights at Encore in a large room with two queen beds. The room was very nice with a large bathroom with two sinks. Unfortunately, our very first night, we were kept awake by the sounds of very loud music. Apparently, our room was above a pool party/bar? Sigh. It went until 4am! We were surprised, and really disappointed. When I went in the morning to speak to the reception desk about our dissatisfaction with the loud music keeping us up, and wanting to switch to a quieter room, I was told this. ALL of the rooms with two beds in the entire Encore hotel are going to have the loud music that will keep us up on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. What? The hotel is very aware that their guests will be kept awake at least 2 nights a week by their own bar/pool party? And they simply accept this? Unbelievable. When I asked what my options were, I was told we could move to a smaller room and get a rollaway bed. No thanks, neither of us wants a small room with a rollaway, or we would’ve booked that. I asked about maybe getting two connecting rooms, and was told this was an option, but I would have to pay hundreds more. (I’M supposed to shell out more, because my sleep has been disturbed?) We are two girlfriends who leave the husbands and kids home a few times a year to travel. We stay in some of the best hotels in North America (typically!). The fact that the Encore prioritizes playing loud music, and having a huge party till 4am over guests getting rest is very telling. We chose to stay at Encore for a new Vegas experience. We won’t stay again. We’ll go back to our Bella Suite at the Palazzo, or the lovely double room at Aria - so we can get some sleep. Read less

I mentioned these to front desk after my first night stay and felt as though they shrugged it off. They didn’t offer any comp or sincere apologies. I got different answers when working with bell desk and concierge about available tours. It was really frustrating to be told one day of a Hoover Dam tour option, and the next to be told it didn’t exist. I kept getting transferred around until I gave up and escalated it at front desk. Security was surprisingly lax on a few characters that should have been removed from the property. One guy at the Overlook lounge was clearly intoxicated and was yelling things and picking things up and down around the bar. Another guy was so intoxicated, he fell over backwards multiple times in line for Fogerty tickets. Easy examples of when to show people the door. Overall I’d recommend the Encore, but there’s definitely things they need to improve. Read less

So this was at least my 10th stay in Vegas. The first at Encore. Overall, the room was nice, the shower did have a small leak, but all in all, it was clean and felt more upscale. BUT - the very ability for a hotel to sell guests rooms - knowing full well, that the nightclub noise is absolutely ridiculous, should be a crime. The price for these rooms is not cheap, and as many others have pointed out, if you get put in the wrong room that, regardless of floor - high or low, is in the line of sight of the nightclubs, do NOT plan on sleeping whatsoever between 10pm and 4am. We were on the 26th floor, so I can only feel for those on 15 and below, and as others have pointed out that were near the top - if you are in the line of sight/sound of these clubs, it will be impossible to sleep until the club closes. Whoever thought positioning an outdoor nightclub between these two buildings was a good idea better have been fired. I cannot overstate this enough, it was downright maddening, even with a white noise maker. All I could do was wait until 4am and finally get some peace. It isn't just the noise, it is the fact you are feeling the sound of the bass. Calling these hotel rooms is not correct. These rooms are indoor patio lounges to the thump of the nightclubs when they are open - unless you sleep outside the hours of 10pm and 4am. If I could wipe that one major deficiency away, I could say there would be a possibility of a return, but the fact we were put in this room and not even warned that there would be no rest, is complete BS. Encore should be ashamed to sell these rooms to guests and expect that they can get some decent sleep at all. For the fact they sold us a room like this, gave no warning, is shady at best. Would be highly doubtful of a return. Read less
