With This said, I was horrified by the resort fee of $50 a day plus tax (we didn’t use the gym or pools so this was just the privilege of using WiFi). We also asked for two beds instead of one as were friends this also was an extra $50 a day plus tax. It ended up making our vacation far more expensive than planned. I tried to speak to front desk via phone regarding the fact I was set up for resort fee and being charged WiFi to which I was spoken to very rudely. It turned out the person I spoke to didn’t know what she was speaking about and I got this sorted out the next day with concierge who were lovely. Was also spoken to very rudely at breakfast one morning (I accidentally got in the wrong line) and was stroppily told to get to the back of another line bearing in mind I had also qued for around 10mins at this time and they could tell it was a genuine mistake. Avoid the store as it’s super expensive, small bottle of Prosecco and bag of chips $37!!!! Read less

Charged a resort fee with no resort availability. Pools at Encore we’re ALL closed for renovations. You have to walk through the Encore Casino Floor AND the Wynn Casino Floor. The only pool open is the sunset pool. And they close at 4pm. No hot tub. All the restaurants are expensive!!! But then again it is Vegas. Everything is expensive. … Read more

We visit every year and have stayed at the Palazzo, Venetian, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio and MGM (gross, I know). We visit every year and have stayed at the Palazzo, Venetian, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio and MGM (gross, I know). While Palazzo and Encore are a close toss-up, the latter wins because of the breakfast buffet, pool design and the world-class spa. I’ve been to many spas and am not typically someone who you’d think enjoys anything Las Vegas style — but the Encore spa, albeit huge and robotic, is truly perfected. You’re in and you’re out and you feel anew. It’s like they rounded up the best masseuses of the world and trained them to the tee to guarantee consistency and the massages are prescribed against quality by any universal measure. The rooms are beautiful and the pool is as cute as can be and I can’t wait to go back. The decor is fine and the casinos are no good and when it’s busy, the whole city is a mob scene I couldn’t care less for. But Encore is the most relaxing of them all, tucked away from the bustle yet still with spectacular views. And the perfect weekend getaway for me when I desperately need sunshine away from my beloved rainy hometown of Portland, Oregon. Read less

We stayed at the Encore last year with friends. The pools, the casino, the dining, the atmosphere are second to none in Las Vegas. Luxury at its finest. We visited Vegas this year and to save some money stayed elsewhere down in the middle of the strip. We won’t make that mistake next time. No other place in Las Vegas has compared to our stay at… Read more
