The room was clean, the personnel was friendly. They kept me informed on when the room was ready and making sure everything was to my liking. I will be staying there again. Checking out was very easy.

The first room we were given smelled like sewer. We requested another room and it was a little better. The manager at the view lounge had a terrible attitude. Her tone of voice was condescending and she was yelling at two of the bartenders. I was told that her name is Jan. Jan needs to get additional training in hospitality. Another issue I had… Read more

Her tone of voice was condescending and she was yelling at two of the bartenders. I was told that her name is Jan. Jan needs to get additional training in hospitality. Another issue I had was that housekeeping did not service the room and the hotel did not allow for room service. I don’t know if this is due to COVID-19... but after we checked out of this hotel, we ended up staying at the Venetian and housekeeping at the Venetian are still servicing the rooms (as they should) and I have been able to order room service. The last issue that I had with the Strat is that I never saw staff cleaning/sanitizing the slot machines. They are not taking the virus seriously and need to do better at protecting guests. Read less

For the most part, I'm having a blast... It sucks that the buffets here and in town are closed.. I wanted my wife to have the Vegas buffet experience. But all and all, this place The Strat rocks....awesome stay thus far. Thanks #hulksmash

We enjoyed the Hotel but probably will not return because of all the people smoking pot everywhere. In the elevators restaurants, and on the gaming floor. It was terrible. People have the right to smoke it but I shouldn’t have to be constantly having to be around it.

Stayed last year in one of their "elevate" rooms, quiet stay, couldn't wait to return. When I booked for this year, I couldn't see paying the extra just for a coffee maker and fridge and stayed in a standard room..This stay comes just on the heels of reopening from corona virus. I think the draw of dirt cheap room rates have not only attracted the frugal(me lol) but others that normally wouldn't have the means. Problems encountered included sickening stench of weed in the room corridors, paper thin walls(was first assigned a room with adjoining doors), was traveling with a preteen and continued (loud) profanity from adjoining room, and connection(beep) of what I assumed was a Bluetooth speaker followed by loud blaring music. Music could be heard all the up and down the hallway...Also while going back to room one night, passed a room where it sounded like "tweekers fighting and shouting".....Hotel is in a not so desirable location(hence the cheaper room rates)...Don't stay here unless your a partyer or unless you pay the upgrade fee for a different section of the hotel.
