We can't say enough good things about our experience at the Westin Las Vegas. This hotel has solved the "problem" with Las Vegas hotels. Noisy casino and smoke everywhere. Even though the hotel is only 2 blocks from the strip, the Westin is a world away from the noise and smoke of the typical Vegas resort. From the moment you walk through the doors, the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Check-in was quick and efficient. Most importantly, there is zero cigarette smoke anywhere. The room was clean and fresh smelling, and the high floor rooms provide some nice views of the city. The rooftop pool is more like on level 4, but was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were superb, and bed was the typical Westin quality. I have a few business trips coming up to Vegas, and we may just have to ditch the convention hotel and stay here instead. The resort fee is north of $35+ per night with tax, which is a bummer and seems unreasonable. However, just about every hotel in Vegas charges resort fees now. Read less

Stayed here for the recent Rock 'n' Roll Marathon as it was close to all start/finish lines and transportation (monorail). Rooms were spacious, well appointed, and clean. Being off strip it was a bit quieter, less busy ... which was very nice. On-site dining was decent (Jake and Eli's)(Breakfast Buffet was great!), and room service was prompt and excellent. Location provided easy access to the airport, as well as anything else you might want to get to either via a short walk, or the monorail (recommend a multi-day pass, and use your phone wallet). Amenities included a pool/spa/fitness center/running concierge, all of which looked very nice, though I didn't take advantage of any of them. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly. Read less

Best hotel in Vegas - quieter & much less congestion than larger Hotel’s/Casino’s. The staff is helpful & friendly. Offered bottled water & 4:00pm late checkout while checking in. Complimentary apple cider w/fresh fruits (apples, peaches, plums) & free whiskey tasting each evening. Of course, the most comfortable mattress, bedding & pillows on the planet. Parking is less stressful than other places. Convenient to Uber/Lyft casinos, etc. Sunday buffet is awesome - our family of 11 were taken care of by waiter, Carlos. By far, the best service we ever received! We can’t say enough about this hotel - we feel right at home! Read less

I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm (check in at 3 and I did the mobile check in earlier) My room wasn’t ready and they told me it would be at least 30 minutes. Coming in from the east coast so it’s 1 am to me. So disappointed.

The nice part was that there is no casino, and no smoking. The rooms are nice, the shower has great pressure. The Service Express staff are very responsive and try to address any issues immediately. Every time you get on the Internet, though, they ask you how your stay is. If you report any issues, be prepared for the maintenance person to show up with the drill and the hammer knocking on your door at 5 am!!!! There were some cleaning issues (mostly with doors, closet doors, light switches), so they offered $25 off food and beverage; however, that did not apply to delivery or gratuity! I would have rather had extra rewards points or $25 off the bill! Also, twice during my stay, I asked for ONLY towels and garbage removal, which meant license to take the “do not disturb “ sign off the door. For the most part, though, the housekeeping was very willing to please, though not sire they understood what I asked. The Eat Well food was pretty good. Much better than the Jack and Eli menu at the hotel restaurant. But beware of the small print: $6 delivery charge and 18% added on without asking or telling you. The conference rooms are small, and the restrooms are on the other side of the hotel. The tea was great, the coffee not so much. The catering was ok, but the chicken seemed to be dry every time. The desserts and pastries were awesome, though (worth the carb overload and the calories!). The elevators are old and the lobby level elevator lights are out, so you don’t know which one “ding-donged” until the doors open. And when the doors start closing, they don’t seem to have a sensor, so don’t try to sneak through! The lobby is old style, always busy and loud. BTW, the conference rooms don’t have outlets for charging. Overall, average value. Would stay again for conference, but not for vacation. Read less
