No refridgerator in the room. Well, perhaps you don’t need it Siberia or similar places, but in this part of USA where many tourists plan a trip to Death Valley, a refridgerator would be nice, so you can bring cold water with you.

The hotel and casino are clean and uncrowded and the staff is friendly. The interior is nice with lots of restaurants but the casino is small. Some people may actually prefer that, but many won't. Our room was nice enough but a few things needed attention. The bathroom fan intake grill hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the door knob faceplate was loose. The bed was pretty comfortable. The windows, however, needed blackout shades of some sort because the plantation shutters wouldn't close enough to keep out the bright lights which shine day and night in Las Vegas. Hard to get to sleep at first. The furniture was tasteful but the wood was a little beat up in places. The bath fixtures were nice and worked well. The floors were nice, clean, and well kept. Lighting was very good and the electronic charging stations worked well. The halls were quiet; no disturbances. Overall we were happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Tropicana again, even though there are glitzier places in Vegas with more "action." Read less

Required several calls over the weekend to get the room AC working properly. Was never able to get the temp to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Food and drink prices were excessive. Over $12 for 2 cups of coffee??

Not very happy overall. The hotel-resort was nice enough but so many false advertisements. We were traveling cross country and booked rooms day to day. We found this hotel offering free parking and breakfast ( we out this in our search). And we got this room for $39. When we got there they added an additional $41 resort fee which we only wanted to sleep before continuing our journey. The next morning we found there was no included breakfast In addition to being the ONLY hotel from PA to Nevada that didn’t offer an in room coffee maker. That did have a Barista where we got a. $5 cup of coffee. Management offered no help in the false advertising saying we had to contact the company they contracted to advertise. Was upset because they passed the buck. I will never stay in Tropicana again. Read less
