After visiting LA many times over the years, this was the first time at the viceroy and it was great! The rooms are very large and nicely appointed. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast two days and it was great. The rooftop pool is great on a warm day. Very convenient location. Overall a great stay and will be back soon.

Arrived after 12 hours flight and 9 hours time difference and have to wait in the Uber for 10 minutes before I could go and in check in. They were searching for a missed item in the hotel car and when I told them I was checking in I got told “ Madam you have to wait” I was a little surprised and I got very irritated. Finally I went to check in and (I and two children) were not offered anything to drink( not even a glass a water) Room was not ready so we went to have lunch. When we got our room I thought they gave us the wrong room since my sister-in-law who made the booking was asked by us to book the Viceroy studio double suite (two doubles bed in one room). We had been upgraded to another suite I was told when I called front desk. I was very upset( jet lagged, alone with 2 kids, flying all day) and told them I wanted the room with the two beds and not to sleep children in a sofa (regular sofa, not a sofa bed). I was very very upset. They called back to see what was booked and they said my sister in law never booked the room I asked for and now it was sold out.. Then the staff made a big mistake by violating my privacy rights by sending a private mail to my sister in law (who has been staying as long term guest at the hotel and all staff now consider her a friend ) to tell her about my “ bad behavior” etc. many details of me and my stay at the hotel. The mail incident came to my attention after my father in law told me about what someone in the staff had e-mailed his daughter about me. The hotel staffs unprofessional behavior caused a family fight. I had a calm and nice talk after checking out with a manager and another staff member and they promised to check in to the matter and send me an apology letter. They never did. After I made an online feedback from the hotel visit I got an email from Mr Robert Harmann , director of front office. He was concerned about the issues and passed it along to senior management. But I never heard from them. I am sure this is a legal issue since they violated my privacy rights and therefor might be advised not to reply to my latest mail. Stay at The Four Seasons Beverly Hills instead. It’s much nicer overall and the service is soooo much better. Also more family oriented hotel than the Viceroy. The rooms are bigger at Viceroy but that’s it :) Read less

Can’t imagine a better West Hollywood location for our needs! We had three couples meet here for a quick weekend in LA. The rooms are large and feel like apartments. The street is quiet and more residential than other Bev Hills hotels..and we loved that. From valet to bar to rooftop pool, service was perfect. We’ll return!

Amazing location and amazing hotel. One of the best places we have ever stayed at. Made us feel at ease ASAP when we checked in. Really friendly staff, the house car service was excellent. All done exceptionally well. Great rooms. Very private. Will definitely book again next time in LA.
