Hotel was very classy. Room was clean, bed was king size and room was large enough for 2 of us to move around comfortably. Bathroom was clean and modern. Parking available onsite. Beautiful views from our window. A great visit.

Property's last makeover was over a decade ago, and can use another one. 2 of 3 elevators were inoperable and so hotel guests are encouraged to share 2 freight elevators with staff. Causes problems early in day when guests are headed down to go to Universal Studios. Rooms around pool are odd, and that space could be re-designed for upscale… Read more

Booked two rooms at the property for 5 days to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. When I booked, I had both rooms charged to MY credit card (obviously I'm not going to make my parents pay for their room). A week prior to check-in, I visited the property and spoke to a "manager" to ensure my parents would have no problem checking in (they were arriving first and I didn't want them waiting in the lobby until I arrived). The manager assured me that there wouldn't be a problem getting them in their room. On the day of check-in, I received a text message from my parents that they couldn't check in; the only way they were able to check in was to have ALL room charges charged to THEIR credit card. When I finally arrived on property, I spoke with a second "manager" who couldn't tell me why there was a problem at check-in, but assured me (now for the second time) that my parents wouldn't be charged and ALL charges were going to MY credit card. Half way through our stay, my parents received a phone call from the front desk that they needed to come down and have THEIR credit card ran. For the THIRD time, I visited the front desk to inquire as to why they needed my parent's credit card when all the charges (including incidentals) were going to MY credit card. They had no response and assured me (now for the third time) that all charges would be going to my credit card. On the day of check out, I received an email that showed that my parent's credit card had been charged. I FREAKED OUT! I called the front desk (now for the fifth time) wondering what the heck was happening! There was no "manager" on duty, so I spoke to someone at the front desk who assured me (empty promise) that my parent's credit card charges will be reversed and all charges would be going to my credit card. This was a TON of drama for what was supposed to be a nice stay for my parent's 50th anniversary. The property is beautiful (recently remodeled); unfortunately, due to management's incompetence, we won't be back and I'll NEVER suggest anyone stay at this property. Who knew it was so hard to charge a credit card?!? Read less

This hotel is very close to Universal Studios but don’t stay here. I had reservations dor two rooms with two queen beds with a balcony. When I came to check in, they didn’t have that room type and so they wanted to give me king bed and waive the fee for a rollaway. I specifically wanted 4 beds and was paying almost $700 for the two rooms. The clerk acted like he was doing me a favor! I called Sheraton Guest Services and the guy was nice but no follow through. He promised a call back but no call. When I got back, had a similar interaction with another agent. Finally, I accepted the inferior room and it had the following issues. The dead bolt on the door didn’t work. There is no security at this hotel. There is nothing to keep non guests out and so I was worried that the deadbolt didn’t work. Took about 45 minutes to get it fixed. The bathtub stopper din’t work. The keys didn’t work - twice. The reading light didn’t work. The room is really small and it has a window from the bathroom into the room so that if someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light shines into the room. I made coffee and the creamer was so old it was solid rather than liquid. Service in restaurant is really slow. Read less
