Had an unfortunate experience with this property. Booked thru the res service trying to get to their property in Beverly Hills. Received a confirmation saying we were booked at the W Hollywood property for $425 per night. We immediately saw the mistake and called the hotel to make the change. We were not able to get to a live person at the hotel for more than 25 minutes (9;45pm) . When we finally got thru, we were lectured that the W Hollywood NEVER cancels a reservation. Our card would be charged and we could fight it out with the head of finance to try to get our money back. We drove 7 miles ( a big deal in LA) to the Hollywood property and asked to speak to the Manager on Duty (10:54pm). He reiterated that he did not have the authority to change the reservation, even thought both were W properties. We were enraged with the attitude and lack of customer consideration. Instead of fighting with finance dept, we checked in only to find out that there was a loud party on the roof blaring thru our bedroom. When we called to complain (11:45pm), we were offered a pair of ear plugs until the party ended at 2AM. We could not believe it. Upon check out, I asked for the GMs card. The Director of Welcome Office (?) saw that I was frustrated and offered a $100 refund and some Marriott points. (Good call Vanessa, Thank You) She sent a note to the GM with our story. Haven't heard a word from him. Other reviews mention the age of hotel guests (young) and the "vibe" that is unique to the property. Bottom line, the hotel is run like a ghetto hotel hiding behind the W Brand. They can get away with bad attitude and bad customer service because of their location. I won't go back and those who book here should be very careful or you'll have to fight it out with the VP of Finance..... the ONLY one with the power to make it right for the customer. Hey Marriott! Anyone listening???? Read less

The staff at the front desk has no idea of the neighborhood and cannot recommend day spas or restaurants. The Bliss spa is still closed and check takes a long time. Rooms are tiny and make sure u like loud music at the pool. Not in a great neighborhood.

There was a private event at the Hotel, and they had a DJ in the lobby. The vibe was energetic and fun. Valet, FD, and Bartenders were very friendly. The rooms are nice, we had a room with two queen beds and it was still a very spacious room. Overall, it was a nice stay, too bad we didn't get to enjoy as much as we wanted to since we had plans the next day very early in the morning. Can't wait for the next time I stay here to really enjoy the amenities of the Hotel! Read less

I wish we had enough time to walk the boulevard and visit the stores and shops near the hotel. As a musical theater geek, I loved that it was right in front of the Pantages! I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for when I return to watch a show. I also loved the atmosphere from the lobby and how there was a DJ playing music. It was a fun stay and I wished we had an opportunity to try the restaurant outlets and see the rooftop pool. Can't wait to visit with my friends again! Read less
