Absolutely terrible customer service. I woke up the day of my reservation with a terrible case of the flu. I called the hotel and asked if my reservation could be modified for a week out - cause you know, I don’t want to get any of their other customers or staff sick. Absolutely terrible customer service. I woke up the day of my reservation with a terrible case of the flu. I called the hotel and asked if my reservation could be modified for a week out - cause you know, I don’t want to get any of their other customers or staff sick. The front desk customer told me I’d have to wait until Monday to speak with on site reservations. I called my credit card company (who I booked the room through), who attempted to contact the hotel and again, no change. I called the hotel back, and after asking for the “call back Monday” advice to be sent via email to me so I had next steps in writing for a travel insurance claim, a very hostile front desk supervisor told me no, all communication needs to go through the booking agent and they will not send me anything in writing. So I call back Monday. What does the onsite reservation agent tell me? I need to contact the booking agent. I’ve never been so frustrated and agitated by an encounter with an hotel. Ocean views are not worth terrible customer service. They much rather me be sick and infect their customers and staff than being helpful. Read less

We had a great stay! The room was clean and there was great service. The hotel staff is very friendly and Ramon was eager to help us. He gave some great recommendations! I definitely recommend Shore Hotel if you need a nice, central place to stay in Santa Monica.

I had a great experience. Thank you to Ramon who was super kind and helpful throughout our stay. He even greeted us with a glass of champagne and treated us like friends. I will be booking again in October.
