Le Parc Suite Hotel

West Hollywood, Los Angeles

The hotel

Even the most dedicated urban nomad sometimes needs a place to escape LA – and that’s where Le Parc Suite Hotel comes in. Squirreled away in a residential road in cool West Hollywood (WeHo to those in the know), this high-design hotel is the perfect sanctuary between sightseeing, shopping, and nights at nearby ‘name-dropping’ haunts like The Viper Room and the Roxy. Every room here’s a suite – and Le Parc suites are ones you’ll never want to leave thanks to the balcony, lounge, kitchenette, fireplace, and complimentary WiFi that comes as standard. (And, because you can order up farm-to-fork favourites from Knoll, the hotel’s upscale bistro, you don’t have to leave it.) If you do want a reminder of the city outside, you can always head up to the Skydeck, with its heated rooftop pool, cabanas, and metropolis-skimming views.

My husband and I recently stayed at Le Parc Suite hotel, we were both amazed when we walked into our room. It was def one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. It was extremely spacious and very clean. The staff was lovely to work with. The location was great, we walked to many different restaurants

Stayed here for four nights. Room was big. However, they charge a "resort fee" which they say includes bottled water in the room and a daily newspaper. When I asked about these on check-in they said they stopped papers and water because of Covid. Covid does not spread by touching a sealed water bottle or a newspaper but many hotels use it as an excuse to continue charging a fee for services they don't provide. Fortunately, when I complained they removed the resort fee from my bill. Also, if you want your room cleaned, you need to request it or they won't clean it. Another Covid excuse to cut services without cutting prices even though you are out of the room when they clean it. Cleaning the room was minimal - just making the bed and replacing towels. Dirty glasses left and no surfaces cleaned or coffee replaced. Read less

We booked a weekend stay here primarily due to its walking distance to 3 restaurants we've wanted to try for a while. For various reasons, we pivoted away from those 3 & instead enjoyed 3 that are each over 100 years old, much fun. Check in staffer was very informative; self-parking was convenient & gated; suite was lovely, though it would have been great to have a few glasses, plates & silverware to use with its microwave & fridge; the back views are much preferred over the front views of a residential street; nice step down into tub/shower combo; appreciated the gas fireplace & that they offered housekeeping upon request. I set up a time the next day at 11am for housekeeping, called down at 1pm when the room hadn't been started & they finally got to the room around 2pm. Rooftop pool/bar- nice to be able to use cabanas for free & that many were allowed to bring in outside food/drinks; servers clearly don't love their jobs but they don't work for tips- they add 23% service charge without disclosing it on menu, website or verbally upon check presentation, rather tacky & led to multiple people we spoke with adding on an additional tip unknowingly; Happy Hour 4-6pm daily is only for drinks at 50% (no apps), & they charge the 23% service charge on the 100%- though for the F&B credit they only credit the 50%; they do not tell guests of Wine Hour from 5-6pm when they offer free glasses of Rose, Pinot Grigio & Pinot Noir, so many unknowingly order regular drinks. We had a $30 F&B credit which was not on the original folio, & then calculated incorrectly on 2 subsequent correction requests. We had to leave while the front desk staffer was so confused, so I gave my name & number & requested a call from the GM that afternoon (Sun). When I'd not recevied the courtesy of that requested call by 4:45pm, I called back & was told the GM works weekdays (obviously something that I should have been told initially). I was then promised a call Mon AM & never heard back from anyone. I always try to give management a chance to hear my feedback & correct it if possible BEFORE writing reviews. So I'm now writing it. Their website says "waters" are provided as part of the Resort Fee. When I called to request them, since there were none in our room upon arrival, I was told they weren't doing it due to COVID. I explained that that was untrue, as most hotels wev'e stayed at the past 15 months have indeed provided them & that they should 1) have removed it from their website 15 months earlier, & 2) tell the truth, that it is purley a cost savings move. I was told they'd deliver waters to my room, since I'd asked, but neverreceived any our entire stay. Read less

It was very convenient to have a big sofa and a dining table. Bathroom was clean and shower was very good, with plenty of towels and space. Staff was super nice and helpful. We liked the decorations at the entrance, as well as the room decoration. It was modern and happy! As for the location, it was the best for us. About 20 minutes ride from Universal studios and Warner Bros. 20-30 minutes to Santa Monica pier, 15 minutes to Walk of fame. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Our room faced the "main" road and it was quiet. There were some good dining options very close by: Urth cafe only 5 minutes walk ( GREAT pastries and coffee, sandwiches etc); Vito's pizza 7 minutes walk with the best pizza and desserts. The best part is you can get a takeout and eat in your room (just make sure you get utensils because there aren't any in the room kitchenette). Sprouts and Trader Joe 10 minutes of nice walk. We had breakfast one morning from the hotel's restaurant and it was great as well. Fresh and tasty. As for Covid protocols, masks were mandatory inside and everybody wore them. The room was clean. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again! Read less

Just spent 5 nights there and it was even better than I'd hoped. We arrived near midnight on Sunday but the staff was ready and checked us in swiftly and professionally. The suite is not overly fabulous but modern yet very comfortable. The entry door leads to the living area and kitchen and to the left the beds and bathroom. There's a lot of room and open feel to it (650 square feet). The balcony is descent sized and I enjoyed sitting on it during mornings and evenings. As others have mentioned it feels like you're in a neighborhood (because you are) but you're a very short walk from Melrose and Santa Monica Blvd. so there's nearly anything you want just around the corner. If you're looking to be in the middle of the action, it might not be the place for you but for us, it was perfect. There's very little street noise, traffic, etc. and the neighbor feels safe. Parking is under the building (gated) and an easy, short walk into the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice. It's 3 stories with a nice rooftop pool, deck and bar. The best thing I can say about Le Parc is I felt at home. The staff was very nice and helpful but laid back too. The value is the next best thing I could comment on because for the price what you get, I don't think it can'be beat. Originally, we planned 4 nights and the last night near LAX but we liked it so well that we didn't want to leave so we stayed the 5th night! I'd have no problem living there and can't wait to go back. Read less
