I went to this hotel in order to get away from all the craziness happening right now. I assumed that things would be safe based on what I was told when I booked the room. They told me that the hotel and pool was running at half capacity and that no one could be at the pool who wasn't staying in the hotel. When I got to the hotel pool I noticed that it was a social distancing nightmare. The chairs were very close together and it was the most crowded I've ever seen the London pool. Normally when I've been it has been very chill and relaxed. It was like a very party atmosphere and very loud. I heard guests talking about inviting their friends to the pool. I personally don't care what people do amongst themselves, but I felt cheated and lied to in how the hotel portrayed themselves. When I tried to talk to the hotel staff about it I was gaslighted and told that they were doing everything they could and told me that it was hard to control people, which I think is actually their responsibility in this situation. It also seems like the pool menu has been cheapened a bit and I generally got the sense that the hotel was less nice than it used to be. Also, the check-in experience was pretty crazy as there was a woman in a robe screaming at a staff member that they were racist. It took forever to check in because there was a line of people paying in cash and having conversations about I'm not sure what with the front desk staff. It's always confusing as to why things can take so long at check-in for some people, and the staff seemed unconcerned about the craziness in the lobby. Another thing is that they had changed my room and downgraded me without asking me that eventually that was sorted out through an upgrade, but only after I called to inquire about this situation. I really hate to have to write this review because this was my favorite hotel to stay at in LA. I just can't believe how they were running the place during covid and was very confused about the party atmosphere. Maybe there's an explanation for all of this, I'm not sure. I'm sure it's difficult right now with Covid to try to run a hotel, I acknowledge that. But don't lie to and Gaslight your guests for feeling concerned about a deadly pandemic. Read less

The London was a perfect choice for my daughter and I to stay while moving her out to West Hollywood to attend college on-line. Extremely clean, very pleasant overall! This will be my go to place for my future visits.

The rooms are super clean, spacious, and drippin with comfort. The walls are super cool. The service excellent. The valet is a bit slow though. I didn’t try the restaurants downstairs. I loved my bed and bathroom and you for sure get what you pay for. I’d say pricing is moderate to high, depending on when you go. I don’t know what it’s like now during Covid times, but when I was there in January, I had a fantastic stay. Read less

Just stayed here for over a week on business and was thrilled at how terrific this hotel is. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Room service is the best I've enjoyed. The staff is friendly and conscientious, and did everything they could to make my stay stress free, even with Covid. Highest recommendation!

This property stayed open during this difficult pandemic period. Room was very spacious, clean and quite. All Team members were friendly and helpful. Kansas at the Front Office , LAZ Parking Team and Wayne from the restaurant are few names to remember. Will visit again. Thank you ALL for the hard work and positive attitude.
