Meadowood Napa Valley

Napa, Napa Valley Wine Region

The hotel

Taking you beyond luxury, Meadowood is the very essence of wine country: elegant, indulgent, and inspired by the vineyards surrounding it. Bringing together a perfect blend of social buzz and discreet solitude, its cottages, suites and lodges sit among forests and lawns, with features including fireplaces and outdoor spaces like decks or porches. This being Napa Valley, there are daily wine receptions; but the extravagances at this country estate don’t stop there. There’s a 3 Michelin star restaurant, a soothing health spa, two outdoor swimming pools (one for families, the other for adults), and endless leisure pursuits (like golf, tennis, croquet, hiking, and even Zumba and yoga classes). And, if you’re tempted to leave this luxury, the complimentary house car can take you to downtown Yountville or St Helena.

We spend 4 nights at Meadowood and truly enjoyed the facilities. All was truly enjoyable from The Restaurant (once in a lifetime experience), to the Spa (talk about relaxing and make you feel good) to the resort itself (e.g. the rooms, facilities, golf, etc.) It was all first rate. Most enjoyable trip we have had in 20 years. We will be back.

There were a few minor glitches and the re-construction of the exercise facility was a bit of an annoyance but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Read less

This resort is absolutely magical as are the staff and food. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It truly is a special place as is Napa. It's not far from downtown but is tucked away. I loved their tennis courts and instructors too!

We couldn't be more happy with our stay at Meadowood. Staff is extremely attentive, the property is gorgeous and we will be back. We only suggest banning the use of mobile phones at the pool. It's quite disturbing hearing others' conversations while trying to relax.

Nice stay but not on par with reputation and five star rating. I would wait until construction is complete. The spa and the restaurant are both excellent and the staff generally is helpful. The temporary fitness center feels crowded and subpar.
