One of the best Doubletree properties in terms of customer service. The staff at this property consistently provided the highest levels of customer service. They treat every guest as if they are family. We hold an annual conference at this location each March. This is our third year being here. The staff always go above and beyond to ensure that our attendees have everything they need and are well cared for. Our attendees always say how great the staff is and how clean the hotel is. We could not ask for a better conference partner than the folks at DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma Wine Country. This property has a restaurant on site, as well as several restaurants within walking distance, Bear Republic (micro brewery), Mary's Pizza Shack (Italian Food) and Hana Japan for Sushi. Also located within walking distance is a golf course for the the golfing enthusiasts. On the other side of the freeway are several fast food restaurants and a mile down the road is Graton Casino if you're in the gambling mood, or want some additional dining choices. This place is close to many wineries in Sonoma Valley, and you'll find plenty to do as well. Read less

The checkin was seamless, the warm cookies were a nice ‘welcome’ offering. The lobby is spacious and warm but we didn’t spend time here, only during checkin. Our room was on the first floor with á lanai (sliding door to a patio with bistro seating) Hotel is older but good size rooms, which you don’t see much on newer properties. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, nice!! Toilet, shower & sink is in a separate room from vanity sink (two sinks, two rooms) which is my ideal setup. Beds nice, very soft-I loved it but husband said his back hurt the next day so if that’s an issue, take note or ask staff for a firm bed. We had noisy neighbors (loud music at 7am & some racket around 10pm) or maybe the walls are just thin. The hotel is a few minutes from all kinds of eateries and Hwy 101-very convenient (can I mention Krispy Kreme, El Pollo Loco & Chick-fil-A for basics & Cattleman’s for steak lovers and many more. We ate in Petaluma, about a 20 min drive) All in all, a very pleasant stay and would stay here again. Read less

I had booked through Priceline for $153 plus tax. When I got to the hotel they tried to charge me $230 for my stay claiming they did not see my reservation for the amount that Priceline sent me an email confirmation on. I showed them the confirmation page and they corrected it in their system which was good. Then when trying to get an elevator… Read more

We got all the way to our room finally Just to find out there was an elevator right next to it. After packing all of our luggage and child up there. When we got in the room we found that there were not queen beds as advertised but doubles. Also the TV was missing from the room but the remote was there. When we called to complain they said sorry we’re renovating there’s nothing we can do. When we said we were going to speak to a manager in the morning all of us and they had an extra room for us with a TV. In the morning we went down to get coffee and they wanted to charge us six dollars per Dixie cup of coffee, Which in most hotels is complementary. Even our nine-year-old twins said it was the worst hotel stay ever. Read less

This hotel is fine but the food is terrible. Don’t bother to eat here. Go out. Powdered eggs for breakfast and in a food destination like Northern California you can find way better food at much better prices.
