This lovely resort nestled on very beautiful grounds is a favorite to visit, whether traveling solo, as a couple or with a group of friends. Every staff member encountered is friendly, happy and go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. The resort ambassador Beverly Kleven is a rare gem who welcomes each guest like they are an old family friend. It was a real treat to chat with her during this visit. The resort is “wine country chic” as it exudes a warm, relaxed, casual atmosphere. We always enjoy visiting the Fairmont in December when the beautiful lobby is decorated so festively. Beds and linens are super comfy and Nespresso machines are a nice touch. If you can, get an upgrade with room that has a wood burning fireplace as they provide firewood daily. Nightly wine tastings in the lobby are fun but their bar does a nice job with their cocktails if you need a change of pace. Really enjoy their spa and be sure to check out the private relaxation room with loungers. Had the most heavenly treatment with Evelyn this visit and highly recommend her ! Nancy always does a lovely facial too. Can’t wait for our next visit to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn! Read less

It was a delightful 1 full day at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission In & Spa. The amenities are ok, the usual hot dry & steam sauna, the hot whirlpool, the Roman Mineral pool & the shower/cold drench. But I was disappointed that it was Co-Ed spa. I much prefer all women only so I can enjoy the amenities better, The Quiet Room is very nice

I've been coming to this spa for about 17 years and was super disappointed today! It really needs a facelift and for what we pay it REALLY needs to be cleaner. It looks run down and dirty! I've been coming to this spa for about 17 years and was super disappointed today! It really needs a facelift and for what we pay it REALLY needs to be cleaner. It looks run down and dirty! No music during my massage so I could hear everyone's conversations outside my room. I asked the therapist if he could turn it on because it was noisy and distracting, not relaxing at all. He said it was broken and apologized. The chairs to wait in are FILTHY! Why do they have upholstered chairs when everyone sits in them wet! Let me just sit in everyone elses wet spot!!! They changed the robes so no pockets to hold anything. No heaters outside anymore so we froze while eating lunch. This was a very disappointing visit and being a local I will be going elsewhere in the future. Read less

I visited on a chilly but sunny day in January and it was really perfect weather to enjoy the pools. Lunch served by the spa was quick and delicious. My girlfriends and I enjoyed our massage and chatting in the jacuzzi afterwards. Thanks willowstream spa for a lovely day!

I am now coughing and feeling weak all over, 2 days after staying in a Fairmont King room (tiny room overlooking front courtyard, where the vent is directly facing the bed). We set the room temp to 74 degrees for the night and somehow still I managed to wake up in the morning with a scratchy throat. This scratchy throat has now turned into a full… Read more
I am now coughing and feeling weak all over, 2 days after staying in a Fairmont King room (tiny room overlooking front courtyard, where the vent is directly facing the bed). We set the room temp to 74 degrees for the night and somehow still I managed to wake up in the morning with a scratchy throat. This scratchy throat has now turned into a full blown cold. I had the covers over me the entire night. Horrific design to these rooms, doubt I am the first or last person to get sick from this. hotel is dated and honestly overrated. had we paid more than what we actually did (since low season), I would have been even more upset.
