The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

The extra charges were a not so nice surprise when you are getting there. Charged for parking which was not convenient. Went to the Orleans, free parking and got comps even though I was only playing poker

Room was clean. Room was peaceful even during a busy time. Had to wait quite a while and never received a final bill so we don't understand the final charges. Seems like more than Travel*ity quoted. Would stay again

The hotel is in dire need of renovation. We checked in and upon opening our door, were welcomed by a big hole in the wall. The hallways were so dark that it was ominous feeling. We immediately went to the front desk and checked out; we went to our usual Bellagio and don’t regret a single penny. Do not stay here

Got a terrible nights sleep. Place is very loud. The bad reputation is has definitely holds true. I guess you get what you pay for. Way better options on the strip for around the same price. Don't fall for the room upgrade cost. I upgraded and got put in a 1st floor handicap room.
