reserved a bungalo suite again because love having a balcony to smoke and the coffee pot and refrigerator that come with. If you don't book a suite, you may want to pack a small coffee pot and cooler bag. The bungalo rooms are very close to the casino and since we aren't very young, we appreciate the shorter walk to gamble. The cocktail waitresses were wonderful - as was the housekeeping in our room. The halls though show that not much is being done on maintenance. Our slot host, Ralph, was great at making arrangements for shows and treats us as important guests. When we come to Vegas, we only gamble at the Tropicana and we use the player's cards to record our play. We visited the pool daily and saw the Michael Jackson show, Legends show, and Murray show. The Murray show had a small audience but I complement him on treating us as if we were as important as a large crowd. We enjoyed each show. We've been coming to Tropicana more than 20 years. We try to tip everyone who helps us - from bathroom attendants, cocktail waitresses, housekeeping, individuals who seat us at the shows, etc. to let them know we appreciate their service and feel they treat us as valued guests. For our 52nd wedding anniversary, Tropicana was great. Read less

I stayed at the Tropicana Hotel from August 5th until the 12th, and have to say my stay was not exceptional. While staying in the room, my door had issues with not locking properly. I would have to slam the door in order to ensure that the door was shut. During my stay, the room was not cleaned for the first two days, even though I did not have the “rest” card on the door. Once I complained to the front desk I was informed that room cleaning would start the following day. This meant I missed out on fresh towels and the two free bottles of water a day. To end the trip, a day before checkout, we came back to the room to the smell of cigarette smoke. When we looked around, we could see that some of our items had been moved and that an Ash Trey with two cigarettes had been placed in the room. We complained to management who informed us that they would investigate, however they said it may have been a mistake by a housekeeper. During checkout the next day, while packing my baggage, I noticed that my $700 DSLR camera and its bag were missing. We again filed a report with the Hotel and were told that they would launch an investigation. I also followed up by filing a police report. As it stands, I am currently waiting for the Hotel to conduct its investigation, and have Risk Management reach out to me to see if reimbursement will occur. Make sure you lock up or leave any valuables at home because they may not be safe at this hotel. Read less

This is the worst Hilton hotel I have ever stayed. I booked four rooms, and when I checked in, I was told that four refrigerators would be provided, but one day later there was still one without a refrigerator. I just went to ask if I could help with this and the desk told me I would have to pay extra. At the same time, I was told that the room… Read more

The counter told me that I would have to pay extra. So is there or is there not 🤬? Read less

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was okay. Server was awesome! The room had horrible odor and made us sick each morning. We were given a bungalow (even though I reserved a room in the tower). Having a balcony was nice! However, the bungalows are very outdated. The hallways to the bungalows are dingy and remote.
